I only get the gut feeling when Iowa is on offense and I think back to whether i had mistook the laxative bottle for a beer somehow.
LOL. I'm pretty sure he's poking a little fun at the fact that you described every KF game-plan since the Drew Tate days, and predicted that the team that probably punts the most and forces the most punts in the country is going to play in yet another game with a lot of punting.
there is nothing to really go on about. the kid is really fast. He is not tearing it up as a RB or a football player in practice. The idea that he is getting PT in the bowl game or in the fall, at this point, is a fantasy.
he is not climbing the the ladder at RB and is a long way from playing any meaniful minutes at the position.

I'm actually worried about the Defense and the Special Teams. If we give up any big plays early, we're typically screwed for the rest of the game and usually struggle to come back. Kirk will want to "keep it close" as usual, and I'm fine with that since he usually wins those types of games.

I don't get this sentiment that we have no passing attack. Lester brought in both Sullivan and Stratton and says he would have recruited both of them out of high school which he did in Sullivan's case.
With the instability at the QB position the passing game never really came together. From what I understand the offense has devoted the entire bowl prep to working on the passing game. Gill our best receiver has said that the WR play has looked better in practice. I expect us to play like normal to run to set up the pass but I guess I feel a little more confident in our coaching to see some progress in the pass game.
We got a whopping 4 1st downs last game. Not confident at all.
You’re not being serious here are you? Now I could be wrong but the only schools I see averaging less passing yards per game are Army and Air Force. We finished just behind Michigan. 131 yards per game. But overall offensively we were 70th in the country, which is really good when you consider every team is stacking the box. Man we need a QB and some receivers.

I try to look at the big picture. We stuck with an ineffective QB for the first 2/3 of the season. Then when Sullivan went down we handed the reins to a raw young QB who we didn't ask to do very much. You pointed out the improvement in offensive efficiency. In his debut season Lester put together an elite running game that led the Big 10 in rushing. He came in wanting to establish a physical offense built around running the ball.
All of those factors skew toward lousy passing numbers. Improving the passing game has become the next step.
I don't trust Capt Fossil to ACTUALLY free up Lester to innovate.

2. Mizzou concentrates on not letting us ran the ball by stacking the box
3. Mizzou brings pressure on obvious passing downs to hurry Sullivan
4. Our defense and special teams don’t score or create turnovers deep in Mizzou territory

The Iowa defense does well against QBs who aren’t accurate. Their QB for the year was 63%
That feels like 30% higher than Iowa QBs haha, but there’s a chance their QB won’t be able to consistently hit what defense gives him
Of course they’re a very good running team, so if we can’t stop the run it won’t really matter.
I see their Defense loading 8-9 every down and daring us to throw further than 5 yards

Mizzou will force Sullivan to make plays by doing what every DC with any chops has done this year. This is his first audition for the role of 2025 QB1.
