GOP Hypocrites Rush to Deny Support Even if Trump Wins

I don't know what your point is but Trump clearly stated he would support the nominee.
I know. My point was that on stage, he was the only one who didn't make the promise at that time and got immediately booed and ridiculed. All of the other candidates said they would support the nominee. But now that it looks like Trump, they are craw fishing. It seems to me that he was the only person being honest in August.

Ah, thanks for the clarification.

I don't know if we could trust Trump in any case, but if other candidates are already showing a willingness to go back on their word, is Trump really obligated to stick to his? My guess is that Trump's supporters won't think so.

To get around sore loser laws, Trump should be scouting for some existing 3rd party who would nominate him if the GOP sabotages him. Thanks to our lax laws, he can funnel plenty of money their way to make sure they appear on most state ballots.

If I were Trump, I would already be doing that. Wouldn't surprise me if he is.

It's quite astounding how the GOP has opposed third parties due to the fear of siphoning votes from the nominee but now some within the party are considering it.

Why are they even talking about this when, so far, the voters have been clear? From a political standpoint, they should be rallying around the remaining candidates saying, "we've got some great candidates left, etc..." The fact that they are doing everything they can to take out Trump is really interesting.
