The final score was 4-0 so no he did not escape. Poor decision to go underneath. We were under him Long enough to learn in the first period. Brandon needs to get back to that lightening quick hi crotch he was hitting early in the season. He took T Shirt down at Midlands and it was impressive. Only chance to beat Zain is on the feet and it wouldn't take a genius to realize that after watching him in his successes and the few failures that he had 2 years ago at Nationals. Hope Brandon at least gives it a go if he sees him at Nationals.
Dang -- my bad. He certainly got to his feet a time or two -- I must have been so excited to see him get to his feet that I mentally awarded him an escape.

Thanks for the correction. In any case, he's shown he can get to his feet. That's more than half of the battle against Retherford. He can do this.

197, no doubt will wrestle tough. HAVE to shoot to win. Wrestle the first period like it is the last minute of the third; with urgency. Change levels and double him Nathan. If you continue to swipe at a knee half @$$ed you won't beat him. Commit to a shot and run through him until you get it. Wrestle like that and the ref will have to call the stall in the third. Wait for the shot and you will always be waiting.

He was very close a couple times but Zain is outstanding on top. I only remember Brandon getting taken down a few times this year and I think he could take Zain down. Not sure we could get out in 3 minutes and that is saying something because no one rides Sorenson.
