Yeah, because I have a lot of faith they won’t fvck this fictional law up. Any law really. It’s about having next to zero faith in our govt and elected officials.

See this is the problem I have with the right sided gun advocates. People want to claim guns are fine and it's society that changed resulting in these shootings. Where I take issues is just 70 years ago people seemed to trust the government. They signed up in droves to defend this country during WWII, support the war effort, ration food, etc. May be it's you who have changed. Seems to me that the American people trusted the government. I can't imagine my grandfather ranting about needing a weapon to defend against the government.

When it is pointed out that "taking up arms against the government" and using the 2A as the justification to do so, is actually TREASON, the gun-nuts tend to shut up....

I find it maddeningly stupid, that these same folks who push for Law Enforcement Safety and how "our cops are always putting their lives on the line" can, in the same breath, state that they need guns so they can take up arms AGAINST these same law enforcement officials - local, state, or federal. That dog just don't hunt. Somehow, it makes sense in their brains, though....

And, just to clarify, NOT all gun owners are gun nuts. Most gun owners are in favor of common-sense legislation.

Your Grandfather would not have had any of the restrictions that we have today. He could have walked into any hardware store, purchased any gun he wanted, no questions asked. Why would he have had any concerns about getting a gun?

Making fun of people that may be poor would cause the impression you think your rich. Im far from entitled. Im not a Demorat or socialist. I was asked a question, and i answered. Is it really a right if you have to pay to use it? No. I can and do afford it. Not a problem. But what could make it better? Also never asked for anyone else to pay for it. Nobody should have to fork over money for me to practice my right. But then again. You just made that up to make yourself feel like you make sense. But you dont.
