I never understood this. Did all the people/tribes who inhabited the land just show up? Or did they possibly take it over from other tribes by force?

That must not be asked or talked about. It goes against their narrative. It’s almost like conquering other groups of people wasn’t limited to those evil Europeans 500 years ago.
