I laughed at all the slobs buying Hy-Vee flowers today. You can't be a slob of a spouse for a full year and then think overpriced flowers make up for it.

I visit Ecuador often. It is the rose capital of the world. You can get 6 dozen of the most beautiful roses for 5 bucks.

That's nice. It's stupid to pay $100 for a dozen of them in Iowa in February for a made up holiday.

I wonder how things went for this young couple in Wisconsin today? Kailee Branter was arrested 6 days ago after stabbing her fiancé in the neck over a dispute over where to hold their reception. My guess is wild make up sex after a night of drinking at a bowling alley, and he sleeps with one eye open tonight.

The crazy thing is the roses you get there are really fresh and are several times prettier than the ones we get here for $100.
