For the record this is a risky move and I'm concerned some corrupt joke of a Judge will allow some frivolous lawsuit to possibly impact ballot access in key states...

‘Peg’ was an interesting word choice. I guess if that’s the plan then Mayor Pete it is.
Honestly I think the only one that makes sense is Pete. The others seem logical President candidates to me more than VP.

I always remember the three old dudes who caucused for her in the 2020 Iowa Dems precinct I was in. Even Tom Steyer had more than 20.

If it has to be Harris, I would go outside the administration for VP.
I would like Kinzinger but I doubt he would do it. Definitely not Pete, that would be a guaranteed landslide loss. Almost anyone but Pete, but I don’t think a two women ticket can win either.
Zero chance Pete would be elected. It isn’t an attack it is reality. And he’s been very poor in his current position. It is way too much for him.

Given the state of polling right now, I feel like Kelly/Shapiro make the most sense - lean Shapiro because you HAVE to have PA.
I like Kelly and Shapiro. However, I have always liked Beshear from Kentucky. So I voted for him.
Before last week I would have said Hulk Hogan. Now you guys can just pick anyone you want.

The key is to pick a VP who will make Vance look like an extremist in a debate, and someone who delivers a state. If it's Kelly don't worry about potentially losing that Senate seat in 2026. Kelly has pushed the Biden Administration on border policy.
Shapiro is a little green. There could be an argument against him being POTUS in an emergency, but if he performs well in a debate and on the campaign trail he can put those fears to rest.
Whitmer is an excellent choice, and gives experience in being an administrator.
I have hear Roy Cooper, but he is awful unknown. He could help to really put NC in play, however.

I think the obvious choice is Shapiro. If Dems win Pennsylvania, Trump has about a 0.001% chance of winning the election. It’s really that simple.
Whomever her VP candidate, they will be signing up for a beating that voters won't soon forget. Guessing many popular candidates with a future would simply turn her down.
I think Mayor Pete or Newsome would wipe the floor with Vance in their debate but unfortunately both have some baggage. Whitmer is on deck for '28 so I think that knocks her out of contention. Mark Kelly or Shapiro would be fine choices.
