Harris wants the opportunity to look presidential. If there was genuine care or concern on her part for any of the previous storms prior to her running for POTUS, he might take the 30 seconds needed to say thank you.
As it stands she’s not part of the chain of command and Ron doesn’t have the time to placate to her campaign’s needs, he has back to back disasters to deal with, and that time is better spent actually leading the people of Florida in storm prep, after storm cleanup, power restoration etc

I guess my question to the unwavering libs that will not speak bad about KH is why wasn’t she on speaker phone WITH the President when calling Ron DeSantis? Why the need for a separate call when he is in contact with POTUS and FEMA and all the other people in the state of Florida that he is communicating with regarding these storms during prep and post storm work? Has she ever called for previous hurricanes?

The VP's only reason to get involved was political. She's running for president and wants to look presidential. That's it.
She didn't involve herself in Hurricane response prior to running for president because as VP, she has no role.
