Hats off to Jack Nunge. Was Team Best +15

I’m really rooting for the kid. Not only for what he has had to overcome and endure this year but to prove some of his naysayers on this board wrong . Calling Sleeping Dog.

I've always liked Jack's potential, but up to this point I don't think he would start on a good Iowa team. Although he makes some good plays, he seems to almost balance it out with bad plays. He's still weak in the upper body, causing TO's and lost rebounds. He's also only shooting 43.4% and a dismal 21% from 3. IMO his length is his biggest asset, and right now he's helping the team in a reserve role.

He may have some strength issues but I'd love to have a couple others go to the boards like he does when shots go up instead of peeling back immediately. He ain't sceeerd to hit the glass. This team needs somebody that wants it and coming off the bench he seems to have committed to it. He's no Eddie Horton, but he's finding a bit of game after going through a tough stretch the past couple of years.

Having lost my Dad at a younger age than Jack, I have great admiration for what he's doing and how he's doing it. I'm cheering big time for him. He will be a huge asset not just this year, but I believe even more so next year.

I’d like to see Fran more adaptable with his rotation. Outside of Luka everyone has had off games. Our bench is deep enough to play those that are hot on a particular night. Thought last night was much better, Nunge & Perkins/JT are good examples of this.

Still waiting for Deplorable to give him a backhanded compliment about his "weak hands" and the 1 ball he lost at some point in the game.
