A game shortened not by the weather, but rather, because of the destruction going on the field of one team versus the other?

Yesterday Boston College was leading Howard University 61-0 at halftime.

Because of this, at halftime, the teams agree to shorten the 3rd and 4th quarters to 10 minute quarters instead of 15. In essence, they played a 50-minute game and not a 60-minute.

For whatever it was worth, BC ended winning 76-0.
