Am I alone in thinking this message board has become hard to visit in the last year. It seems that this has turned into Hawkeye fans talking about Hawkeye wrestling and having a occassional debate on whose rumors are more believable. To a board that has just as many Penn State fans talking about Bo Nickals sisters boyfriend, Zain's parents farm, or Mark Hall preference on boxer or briefs. I guess I wonder isn't there already a message board where Hawkeye fans and Nitty Lion fans can go and hash out Zenzo's weight gain strategy for next year? I myself chime in from time to time, but I'd still rather go back to the way HR was. Does the HR football board get over run by Alabama fans? Even when some talks about attending an open practice it gets over run by Penn State nerds talking about Cael's new shoes. It becoming hard to sift through the clutter.

I think the better analogy would be Wisconsin football...

Though it did get kind of bad right after nationals I think it has been better of late, especially with the building of the slush fund. I put most of those guys on ignore so I guess I dont notice some of it. If we ignore the trolls they go away. If each of us do our best to stay positive it will get better and more enjoyable. Ignoring a troll a day keeps the negativity away. When one of us donates to the HWC the sun shines brighter as well. We are rapidly getting better with our young recruits and now there is talk of a new facility. I guess I get more excited all the time. The sleeping giant is awakening and he is getting ready to face mush some people.:) Stay positive!

Guess I've never tried the ignore button. I'll see if that is the key.

Here's an idea……

Members pay HR a fee for each and every poster/troll that he/she puts on ignore and that money goes to the HWC.

The more ig-nert fans who show up from competing teams spouting nonsense, the more, "ignores," utilized and ultimately more money goes into the HWC coffers.:)

That would generate a lot since you have to put 83% of the psu posters on ignore. Not to mention the random goofer and cowboy.

I know I use the equivalent of the ignore button on Facebook (unfollow) and my Facebook experience has gone thru the roof in a positive way. I can see how it would do the same here.

Since I am an outsider here, I never ignore anyone and also you guys are so funny that I don't want to miss anything.
This is still by far the best place to talk wrestling.

With all of the BS from PSU, Minny, and Cowpoke posters there is no need to worry about fertilizer.
Minny and cowpoke fans are the worst. PSU fans are for peace and love and trouble no one. Even though I'm a PSU fan, this is my fully unbiased opinion.

In the thread titled Marinelli and Young, how many posts are posted before someone starts talking about Penn State and then Penn State mafia starts chiming in?

Psu fans have to come over here to find something to talk about on bwi. They send over a few trolls to rile everyone up and then run over there and tell the gang all about it! They are obsessed with Iowa on both HR and bwi, it's embarrassing

The one and only time I visited bwi I noticed this as well. Very weird imo, that grown men on a wrestling forum would behave like middle school aged girls.

The Verkleeren thread is getting almost impressive. The last 15 or so posts are from fans of PSU and other schools.

Better yet, every time someone gets ignored, they have to pay a penny for their next post. That way the trolls are footing the bill and not the HR members. (We'll make them pay for the wall!)

What about a sweat shop in China, with rows of children, "liking," posts on HR, 24/7? We'll cash in the "likes," each month with proceeds going to HWC...

Now, before anyone comes around pointing fingers at me for condoning children working in sweatshops, I have to clarify…

These children will be hooked into the HR matrix in a way that, from their perception, they are playing video games praising their godless but glorious leaders. Meanwhile, in the bowels of the internets, the "likes," will accumulate and later be laundered for cold hard cash. (Dollars, not Yuen!) Mu-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

Most threads have become much more pleasurable (although sometimes confusing) since I started using the ignore button. One of the best moves I've made in awhile.

LOL While I agree, I did just visit a thread where it appears one person is conver-sating solo due to ignored posters participation in thread.

If an Hawkeye fan references Mark Hall near the beginning of the Young article, how is that PSU fans fault? Just saying.

when the world hears the word wrestling they think iowa and even with all the titles psu is winning they can't stand it.
All the recruits that PSU is stacking on top of one another must have been focusing on the part where Cael said there would be dodgeball in the room...

Imma talk serious for a second… Who doesn't love a good game of dodgeball?:)
