Nick Allgeyer called up again by the Jays and lo and behold they actually let him in the game tonight up 11-1 in the bottom of the 9th. Faced Austin Meadows and he lined out to deep centre. Next batter flew out to shallow centre. Then Joey Wendle grounded out to first. Fastball sitting around 93 MPH, curveball around 77.

I figured he’d last longer and have more success than what he had. Just goes to show how tough the professional levels are.
Yeah, plus it seems like he was dealing with injuries. Glad we had him for a year, what a fun season that was.
It was, but pitching injuries derailed what could’ve been really special.
I’m really disappointed in how Toronto has used Allgeyer. I think the unknown has messed with him. Up, down, on waivers. Start in AAA, relieve in AAA, start again....zero consistency.
Robert continues to be impressive at AAA Norfolk.

Wallace sporting a 15.43 era and 3.43 WHIP in 2.1 innings during his first two appearances.
Looks like his walks are catching up to him at the higher level. He was able to bail himself out a lot in college. His first outing was 1.1 innings allowing 2 hits, 4 ER, 4 walks, and 2Ks. He threw one inning his next time out allowing 2 walks but no runs or hits. No strikeouts that time either. Hoping he gets it together and puts together some solid numbers in the last couple weeks.
