Help me...

Nothing you or I can currently do. It’s all up to the people in Pennsylvania. But there is a concept of “flooding the zone” with polling intended to reduce turnout

IhateTrump. I really hate Trump. However, with what I have read and watched lately I think he is going to win. Americans are stupid.

Help me off the cliff.

Don't worry...you'll get over it because you're stupid!! Now, send little Teddy out in the forest to play stink finger with uncle timmi!! >

I’m not worried one bit. I plan on voting Harris on Election Day. Trump will win Iowa. Oh well. What are you gonna do 🤷‍♂️?

If Harris wins, I will spend the next 4 years complaining occasionally about Harris on HORT. Other than that, not much will change for me and my life. I hope Trump goes away. He won’t, but I can hope.

If Trump wins, I will then spend the next 4 years complaining occasionally about Trump on HORT. Other than that, not much will change for me and my life. I don’t think Trump lives through his 4 years.

The polling is so ****ing inaccurate. Women are going to wreck this piece of shit and the polls aren’t reflecting their vote. It’s typical media bullshit, they need him to appear electable for the last few weeks of wild political news ratings. The media polling and the Russian troll bet farm polls on elon net are not actual reality. We heard the same shit 2 years ago, and trump HAS NOT won new voters. In fact I bet he has lost some.

2 years ago KS had abortion on the ballot. The whole time we were led to believe it would be close 50/50, it was heavily voted for when the actual numbers were counted. It’s all ratings bullshit.

Shocked, shocked elon promotes it on his site.

I'm not shocked at all.

When you realize that Elno is working hard to get Trump's approval, so he can get a Cabinet position in the WH, and eliminate all the regulatory agencies that oversee his companies. He'd be in a position to "oversee" his overseers, and eliminate all the environmental and consumer protections those agencies currently provide.

It's how oligarchs and despots work - they want to eliminate any oversight they do not agree with. Same w/ DeSantis and Reynolds. They can do a far better job of funneling your tax dollars to themselves.

In Russia, this spiraled into oligarchs and their yachts, mansions, etc. The MAGAs who post here are interestingly silent on those issues, which implies they're paid/employed by those people...

(1) A significant percentage of Americans are definitely "low information" voters. Whichever poster has that George Carlin quote that says something like "think how dumb the average person is and realize half of them are dumber than that..." is spot on this issue.
(2) Trump is going to win (Harris wins the popular vote but not enough swing states). Take heart, this is his last term! Our armed forces will not let him stay longer than that. Further, he will be a lame duck very quickly, and will be very concerned about his legacy and will try to act a certain Presidential way his last 12 months in office.
(3) The pendulum will swing hard back to the left when Trump wins, it's inevitable.

He's not going to win. Lol

OP here’s the way I look at it:
  1. He very well may win. It’s sad it is a dead heat, but this is a real possibility. But, if he does it will be two years with a red senate and a blue house. In 26 both houses will go blue and in 2028 we will see the MAGA rebuke. Yes Trump will damage the country in those four years, but not irreparably. The best way to avoid this is to convince as many people as possible to vote Harris.
  2. There is a distinct possibility the polls are basically manipulated (we know the betting markets are - this is factual). It is in the Trump camp’s best interest to establish the “election was stolen” narrative by convincing as many Americans as possible that Trump will win in a landslide. Any deviation between polls and results helps team Trump, so there is a strong chance the right leaning polls are inaccurate. In this case Kamala wins a number of swing states and our country goes forward with the third MAGA beat down in a row after 20 and 22.
I have no idea which one of these will play out, but either way I am confident America will still be standing four years from now. I hope it’s the 2nd path as this is better for our economy and our democracy, but we can and will survive the first path too.

Trump isn't winning.

don’t pay attention to polls. just like everywhere else in this country, the moral decay from the republican party has spread to the pollsters. it’s all noise. pay attention to the actions of trump and kamala. he is flailing and she is steady with her approach and will win.

the only thing to worry about is the republicans actions after she does. think 2020 but they have had 4 years to get the right people in the right places and refine their approach.

I think we should have some kind of wager on here. If Trump wins, all of the hard core lefties predicting a surefire Trump win (we can make a list) have to stay off of HBOT until inauguration day. If Harris wins, (again we make a list), all of the hardcore righties have to do the same.

What do you think?

sign me up for that and Harris winning. the hardcore righties will just create a new username and spam the board like normal

Just sit back and enjoy the shitshow. Twitter will be full of videos of people going apeshit and spazzing out, no matter who wins. Blue haired weirdos saying that this is LiTeRally the start of the 4th reich or fat hillbillys arming up and saying that they and their cousin fvckers are seceding from the union.
Will never forget when Trump won last time and I went to lunch the next day with four snatches from work. They all bawled during lunch. I just sat there thinking WTF is going on?! I didn't laugh at them at least and they are all still alive and well.

I’m a big Avett Brothers fan, in their song Head full of doubt, Road full of Promise, they have a verse that says, “when your life doesn’t change by the man who’s elected” that verse always stuck out to me because it’s so true. Your life won’t change much no matter who is elected.

They played that song at their concert in CR soon after Trump was elected and the crowd went wild after those lyrics. It was a great concert.

I think that sounds like a great idea and you should start a new thread about it. :)

CSB time.
My FIL showed up at our house yesterday with a Trump 2024 hat on. My youngest spotted it out the window and asked why he was wearing a Trump hat to my NP and me. I just rolled my eyes but Mrs. Insane about lost her shit. I’m pretty sure he was wearing it just to get a reaction, which after I calmed the NP down, didn’t happen.

He’s an old, white, religious farmer who watches Fox regularly. He fits every demographic Trump goes after, so it was no surprise to me that he will vote for Trump a third time despite having a trans grandchild.

I just found out tonight, that my SIL had recently FaceTimed my FIL and he was wearing the same hat. Apparently she cried herself to sleep that night because she has completely lost respect for her father. It will be an interesting Holiday season if Trump wins.
