Here we go...Fall Camp Practice Photos!

If that's the case, I would like a description of Daviyon Nixon please.
And Fant appears to have put in some time in the weight room as well.

I had the same thought about Nixon. Dude is huge.

No pics of the guys I'm most excited to see play. Hooker, Stone, B. Smith.

Also, AJE was going up against Kallenberger in a number of the photos. That further reinforces the suspicion that Kallenberger is in the plans. It would appear that he's a 2nd stringer ... who possibly subs in for the #1s too.

Fast and huge.

I always wonder if there is a correlation between how often you see players and what impact they are having. If there is a correlation, is Daphne making noise?

So what is word on Nixon; is he eligible or what is going on with him?

Also, nice to see we finally spent some coin on some decent practice unis. It always looked like we were filming a scene from The Longest Yard out there.

Nixon is academically ineligible.

Taking year off for academics so he can get feet under him. So he's redshirting basically

So he can technically play in 4 games even though Kirk won't do it.
Like I said in another thread, check his academic "health" on Nov. 1st, and if he's in solid shape, let him play against Purdon't, NW, IL, and NE. If he's in "solid" academic shape on Nov. 1st, he'll pass all his classes on Dec. 10th. Make it an incentive/reward for "solid" academic achievement.

This isn’t accurate.
This may very well be one of the most debated questions pre season and in-season. He's not ineligible, he's simply taking the year off to practice only and focus on studies. Now, let's say come Nov. he's in good shape, could he possibly play? There's nothing that says he can't, up to the staff. Although, we go 9 deep on the DL so why rush him outside of getting a few reps under the 4 game rule to speed up development.
My question is, since he's in fall camp, practicing, doing team activities, etc, what is different about his schedule vs. normal players? Just added study time, tutors, etc, vs. additional football meetings and film study?
