Hey pickup truck guys

****ing with big truck drivers is a tradition I will never get sick of
Love when that happens. It just guarantees that i will drive the exact same speed as the person next to me
You sound like a terrible driver!
Your probably the same person that will speed leaving town to get ahead of someone when the road goes from 2 lanes down to 1 and then you putz around driving 55 and are annoyed when someone is on your ass and then a couple of miles later you make everyone have to slow down as you turn off onto your road.

Depends on how often you have to do it. Something you might have to do once a year it seems excessive to buy a super expensive truck for that.

There are certain truck owners who use them for their intended purpose. But I would estimate 75% of them have them because they are insecure about their masculinity. Which explains things like truck balls and how you constantly see giant pickup trucks riding your bumper.

Personally I drive a Ford Focus. Got it cheap from my dad, I can drive it to work and back 5 days a week plus grocery shopping and other errands and I still only fill it up like once every 2 weeks.

Family car is a mini-van.
Obviously, you must be a shade tree psychologist in your spare time away from the 7-11.

*you're

The auto industry makes many small pickup trucks.
Not really. They make pickups that are smaller than others, but no one makes a traditional small truck. The Maverick, as has been mentioned, only comes in a four door. Even Tacomas are bigger than an old F-150 or Ranger.

I like to go slightly slower than the person next to me until they switch lanes and then i speed up to slightly faster than the person next to me

It only mildly annoys me when any driver, truck or not, comes barreling up into the passing lane like they're heading to put out a fire.

I get that it's annoying AF when someone is driving the speed limit in the passing lane. However, if I transition to the passing lane way in advance of the next vehicle in that lane and I'm driving 5 to 10 miles over the speed limit to pass the car that was in front of me In the previous lane. I will eventually get back over as soon as I pass them.

The person driving 90 miles per hour behind me that thinks it's a good idea to get on my ass like I shouldn't have tried to pass when they were coming because they apparently own the passing lane can eff the hell off.

Part of me is hoping that I see them pulled over further down the road for driving like a jackass.

They’re idiots that constantly ride your bumper. Regardless of speed. I usually do 10 over and always go back to the right lane once clear.
10 over? You're lucky that alpha doesn't make a citizen's arrest on your speeding azz...

Yep. When the transaction prices of full sized trucks increases up to 50% in 5 years, there will be a tipping point hit at some point (for various reasons) where people will stop buying. They are still selling pickups, just at a drastically lower rate than what's being built.

The new pickups are indeed glorious - but just how much pickup does the AVERAGE buyer need?

The fact that there is such a thing as a +$100,000 MSRP pickup being sold (let alone built) to me borders on insanity. IT'S A FRIGGIN' PICKUP!
They can just stop paying on their student loans and be fine.

Safety schmafty. Don't look like lesbos to me. Then again, there are 2 women... Hmmm....
