Can certainly see why she's out of coaching.

Lucy gets ridden out of bounds/fouled with less than 20 seconds in the game, no foul call, and Iowa has an eight point lead. And I quote...

"Yeah, I'm not sure that was part of the gameplan, but you know in her defense, this is a tough place, you know. The depth perception is a little different up here on the stage."

This along with the "things getting dicey for Iowa" comment are just moronic.

Amen to all these comments. I had the sound off for over half the game. Those two, and many sports broadcasters these days, don't know enough to shut the hell up. They talk and talk and talk and say nothing. Meanwhile, I'm going "What was the call? Was it a foul? If it was, who was it on?" They're discussing everything except the action in front of them.

Every TV outlet should do what MLB does: Make both the home and away radio broadcast available for you to choose instead of the TV announcers. And college basketball could take it a step further and save a lot of money--just simulcast the radio feeds and fire ALL the TV broadcasters. You're welcome. ;)

BTW: About that time they forced Kylie out of bounds . . . oh my gawd . . . My wife and I remain incredulous at that and many other calls. Minny forces Kylie out of bounds and they give Minnie the ball. That could have cost Iowa the damn game, a call that shouldn't be made in a 4th-grade game with volunteers calling it.

And early in the game, I think it was #24, tackled Hannah and literally threw her to the floor. No video review on a play that, at the very least, would have been 15 yards for unnecessary roughness in the NFL.

She is so bad I had to turn off the volume in the first quarter. She is terrible and won't shut up.
I hope the Big10 replaces her next year.

I have tried to turn off the volume and listen to Bobby and Dolph on the radio.
Alas my Hulu is about 30-45 seconds behind the radio.

That is so irritating and multiple times I didn't have a clue what was going on, foul or no ort out of bounds or whose ball.
I always follow the ESPN Play-by-Play for the game on my phone while I am watching the telecast so I know what was called. The only "problem" with that is that ESPN is always several seconds ahead of television, so you know what is going to happen next before you see it.

Announcers were painful to listen to last night.

They took an excited, dramatic game and tried to make it MORE dramatic with their call. It wasn't the Super bowl ladies.

Iowa FB used to be that way and then some local IC station synced it. I haven't listed lately but I didn't think 600 was synced, I'll have to check. I like Brooks and Reynolds otherwise.

In Dec 16, 2023's 104-75 win over Cleveland State, Caitlin had 38 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals.

And Shimmy's thoughts on Caitlin's performance?
