Whatever it takes. I'm all-in on hoops. Honestly I could care less about football this year so long as we get a basketball season
The Iowa basketball season is extremely important to me but move to the B12? No freaking way.
It's really important but we all have to temper our enthusiasm as it looks very probable that it's going to be late starting if we play at all. The talk of moving conferences is foolish and is not going to happen.

I personally want all schools to be able to play and I want to see this year's Hawkeyes play against the Big 10 schools as scheduled. Basically, this year's (potentially) special team against the best conference in the land. Go Hawks!

Well, if rumors had it right, your president voted against postponing football. It stands to reason that if Nebraska had left B1G, Iowa might do the same. So it was an attempt to troll, but it wasn't done out of the blue.

Can you imagine playing a competitive sport where your goal is to plant yourself in a spot, hope someone runs into you, so then you can fall over like a little bitch? Yes that's the way basketball was meant to be played.

This is stupid on so many levels.
After not getting football, not getting basketball would really be a kick to the nuts.
I know you're a WI fan but I don't know why you are getting such a cold response to your question.
Personally I would be thrilled if they could play in any conference as long as it actually happens and it's safe for the teams. Iowa is also surrounded by Big 12 schools and if it should come down to the big ten cancelling bball, then by all means I would hope Iowa could play some Big 12 games.
Everyone knows by now that things for 2020 sports haven't been remotely normal. Just look at the NBA. All we can do as sports fans is hope this virus doesn't keep us from ever getting back to remotely normal. U
Until then I think every game in most sports will be at the level of exhibition for the most part.

i have been saying this for a while. there is no way 2 consecutive March Madnesses are canceled. See my bubble thread; work has already begun (thank god!). Conferences are working on bubbles and the NCAA is working on bubbles for the NCAA tournament.

This cannot continue and the conferences know it.
I have started throat punching people in indoor public spaces that are not wearing a mask, that is how important this season is to me. Need to get things trending in the right direction ASAP if that means canceling K-12, shutting down every restaurant, bar, Great Clips, gym, whatever it takes.
