I too know that Pitino ain't coming to Iowa - unless some donors got together and threw a few years' worth of a fortune at him - but I'm beyond tired of mediocrity and want to look forward to new seasons and watching games with expectations of actually winning, instead of just hoping to just keep the final scores close enough to be 'respectable'.
Just letting my frustrations get the better of my posting judgements at times.
What are the actual numbers? "Countless" seems like a lot.
I know in the 7 times Iowa has made it to the NCAAs under Fran, it's never happened.
I’d like to see how many teams have made the tournament over the years without a road win?

I don't want one with no prior HC experience.
Parameters are:
1. Age- 35 to 50
2. HC for at least 2 seasons at D1
3. At least top 3-5 league finish at their lower level D1 location
4. Able to bring 3 quality players with them
Start with those and I think there will be a decent candidate pool available, that can be had for a less than insane amount of money.
I don't want one with no prior HC experience.
Parameters are:
