How high do we jump in the rankings?

This wouldn't be a post from a disgruntled meechigan fan that is possibly sending death threats to a certain meechigan punter would it???

I say 13th possibly 12th

Don't be dumb. You expect to jump Florida for losing a tight game to LSU on the road? Name the 5 teams you guys will jump? I know UM, but who else?

Ole Miss, Michigan, A&M, Florida, OK State, Stanford
Should jump: Florida State, TCU, and Baylor, who are ranked highly but haven't beaten anyone

Baylor, TCU and Florida St?!?! Are you still drunk??? You guys haven't played anybody either, you know.

Stanford just beat up on a ranked team and no way you guys jump Florida. You'll jump us and Ole Miss. 15 is what I'm sticking with.

Dear lord. We are not top 5. We are not top 10. We just beat Northwestern. Northwestern. I mean it was definitely a solid win and all, but calm down.

Ohio State, Michigan State, LSU, Alabama, Florida State, Clemson, Utah, Baylor and TCU. All are light years ahead of you talent wise. Dispute THAT!
LSU and Utah have beaten three good teams, MSU, OSU, Clemson, Baylor, and TCU have beaten one good team. FSU has beaten no good teams. Iowa has beaten three good teams. Alabama has beaten good teams, but lost to Ole Miss. If you think rankings should be based solely on recruiting rankings and stars, I think you're missing the point of playing the season.

I'm sure he thinks it should be based on all-time wins by the program. Nebraska, Notre Dame, and Michigan fans are so cute like that.

Put down the crack pipe, you have the weakest schedule in football AND you've been lucky. I liked Iowa until I got to know the fans. Jeez

False. We've overcome other team's luck and won. We also don't care if people like you like our team. GTFO

Teams change as the season goes on, you know. Otherwise there would be no point in playing past week 1. Stanford is on another level from where they were.
Right now, Iowa doesn't have to apologize for their play in week one or any other week. That's why Iowa should be ranked higher than Stanford in this SEASON'S rankings.

Look we are not in a position YET to say top 5.....but we are really really good....there are going to numerous players on this team that will play on Sundays and say what you want about KF and staff but they have a pulse on this team and have pushed all the right buttons. This is a perfect KF football team, outsiders talking crap all week every week and even on this board about how we can't overcome this or not good enough to do this and as the year goes on it's less and less until people have to other reason other than to tip their cap.....this is the 3rd time he has said F you to his doubters!

Name the good teams you've played.

Shouldn't you football experts be busy chasing your coach out of town? Oh wait, the Hawks are 7-0!! Time to start talking trash again!

Surprised to see you "fans" here after your shameful treatment of your coach and team last year. Leave the message board and try to sellout your stadium for once.

I won't argue "resumes" because Iowa is out of nowhere, which is why they don't belong in the top 5. I will say you're overestimating your wins though. NW is terrible and Pitt? They've played nobody and almost beat you guys.

He said name the better resume. These stats are taken from another thread here. Credit to user mthawkeyes.

Michigan was dominated against both Utah and MSU. You were lucky to even have a chance to win it in the end, but you pissed it down your legs. You had no business being in that game against MSU.

Same story with Utah, except that Michigan was never really in the game.

You guys did beat BYU... Who turned out to be extremely overrated.

It's the same story with Michigan everytime they think they field a decent team. Their fans start popping off and they are quickly brought back down to reality.

Same story with Hawkeyes fans saying (with a straight face) that they belong in the top 5. Good luck to your team, I'm done arguing with people that refuse logic at every turn.

Here, I'll let coaches burst your bubble. Try to show up above the 1 loss teams before you think top 5...

http://sportspolls.usatoday.com/ncaa/football/polls/coaches-poll/

Burst our bubble? Most people were predicting Iowa to come in #13 or #14 in the first page of this thread. Where we thought the rankings would have us today and where we think Iowa should be placed are two different things. If it was based on who you have played so far, based on the statistics I copied and pasted (that you conveniently have ignored) then Iowa should be ranked higher than #13.

Hope you somehow get into bigten title bc we would F you up just like we have for the past 5 years....who are your impressive wins this year?

HAHAHAHAHA!!! first, you're on the team? What position do you play? Don't you have to MAKE the title game before this tough guy stance you're making. It's cute when little wanna be football players start spouting off. Thanks for the laugh.
