The office at at my new job has a really heavy thick door. If I shut it, it blocks out almost all noise. I have to say I like it. Not that I need silence all day, but when I want to focus, it is great

I like background noise like at a coffee shop. Chill music is fine but I can’t stand background television or radio DJ yapping.
