They came to the US to get away from Maduro, or Castro, or the despots of SE Asia, yet crave the boot heel because their side is right...

You lose all credibility when you say that. What portion of evangelicals are Republicans/Trump supporters. It’s basically 100% and the evangelical’s are a huge portion of his base. Most/all evangelicals practically think Trump is Jesus Christ.
If they think that (and I believe they do), then it must be asked what evil they see in the current administration and government that God would send a messiah to make the rough places plain.
I think the Republicans are screwed. Trump won't carry the moderates like he has in the past and if it isn't Trump, many of the Trumpsters simple won't vote, similar to midterm elections.There’s only one realistic way that Nikki or any other Republican beats Trump.
I don't feel like I've been screwed the last 3 years. And things are trending the right direction. I'll gladly take 5 more years of this.
