I was shocked balls were being caught in the first half, TBH. Second half was much more like what I expect.
That never happened. Late hits/roughing/targeting were the only flags thrown and I'd argue that all were incorrect.

You have to make that play. Sullivan practically lobbed it to him. No excuse in D1 to not make that easy catch
Watch the original camera angle. Craig either shoved him, or it was a hell of an acting job. Either way, Craig had his hands on him five yards out of bounds, which was unnecessary to even put yourself in that situation. It looks like Craig does give him a little extra shove at the end. Stupid regardless.

Sad thing should’ve never come to it but 2 guys whiffed on tackles and he should’ve been down 5 yds earlier. Secondary was garbage all day and all year for most part.

Good thing they spent all of bowl prep working on that passing game. After the long pass to Ostrenga, they figured they were good and didn’t have to try it again.

I would say RVZ deer in headlights not coming back to the ball and outfighting a smaller corner for that interception ball was far worse, the kid froze and did the 1 thing You never do as a WR, not come back towards a contested ball and let the DB get the turnover

We can complain about that call all we want but we scored 3 points the 2nd half. To not expect Mizzou to put up points the rest of the game is on us. Have to continue to try and win the game and we did not.

He has done nothing outside of the jump ball play early against a cream puff secondary, He is not strong enough yet to play against more mature DBs who bullied Him badly . No way He was Iowa's best option for playing time and if He was that is even a worse condemnation on the Iowa WR room that has been prior lamented
So true! You have to become a defender on that ball and break it up. RVZ did not belong on the field all season. He is just not physical enough yet to be out there.
