How's Keegan Doing?

Great regular season for Kings!
Now , every team below them is jockeying to get that 6th seed because they think the Kings will melt in playoff more physical defensive style.
Gotta prove themselves all over again.
Can't wait!

Keegan's scoring has been the main story.

Imagine who he might be guarding in the playoffs:

Keegan is running away with the rookie 3-point shooting record.

Keegan Murray 201
Mitchell 187
Lillard 185
Bey 175
Edwards 171
Doncic 168
Shamet 167
Curry 166

The Kings (48-32) lose at Dallas (38-42) 123-119.

Keegan did not attempt a shot in the 2nd half. Crazy.

6 Kings players scored in double figures:
28: De'Aaron Fox (8 assts, 5 rebs)
19: Domantas Sabonis (11 rebs, 11 assts)
16: Harrison Barnes (5 rebs)
14: Kevin Huerter (6 rebs, 3 assts, 3 steals)
13: Malik Monk (5 rebs, 4 assists)
11: Keegan Murray

Keegan's Stats:

30 minutes (of 48 possible)

2-3 (67%) from 2 point range
2-5 (40%) from 3
.......................
4-8 (50%) overall shooting

1-1 (100%) FTs

11 points
9 defensive rebounds
2 assists

0 turnovers
3 fouls

Keegan Shot Chart

4 makes. 4 misses.

Warriors at Kings tonight, 9:00 pm CT.

With just 2 games to go, the Kings hold the #3 seed in the West. They will host the #6 seed in game 1 of the Western Conference playoffs.

The Warriors are currently the #6 seed in the West (the top 6 teams avoid the play in games). The #7 Lakers & the #8 Pelicans trail Golden State by just 1 game with 2 games to go.

Check out the injury report below. I think it's a safe bet that the Lakers & Pelicans are hoping the Kings' starters play big time minutes tonight & get the win. Big time minutes for the Kings top 6 players, however, are unlikely.

Yeah, reading that IR makes one think a person won't see much from Kings top players. Especially since 3 seed is locked.

Strange. I just finished watching "The Run" Episode 1, where this all began with Keegan, just to get a perspective of all of the events leading up to where the Kings are now. It's truly an amazing story @Franisdaman. Where will Kris wind up at? We'll see. Sacramento? ;)
