How's Keegan Doing?

Tomorrow(sat) nite the Kings visit United Center to play the Bulls.

Bulls are treading water 3 below .500 but Lavine. and Pat Willims are out so Kings have a good shot.
Keegan will try to check Derozan...dont bite on the pump, KM!

Well well. Kings go down to the Pistons at home by the score of 133-120. Ivey with a career high 37 points. Credit to Detroit. They played tough all game. Keegan was benched for a good deal tonight with 4 fouls. He finished the game with 0 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, a steal, and a block in 20 minutes.

OT. Kings did not make a move at the trade deadline. They acquired Robin Lopez and cash from Milwaukee, but waived him. Personally, in my unprofessional opinion, I don't see this team as a lock for the playoffs. I see them as a play-in team at best. The roster as constructed is similar to last year's team, but more inconsistent.

Denver at Sacramento should be a good one tonight. Denver played last night (the Kings were idle) The Kings are favored by 2.5 pts. Too bad this game is not on national TV.

Kings win over Denver 135-106. Keegan had a better scoring night with 17 points, a rebound, and 2 assists.

Nice home win tonight over the defending NBA champs, who are now 36-17 and the current #4 seed in the West.

The Kings (30-21) are the current #6 seed in the West and just 1/2 game ahead of the first play in tournament team (#7 New Orleans, 30-22).

More on Keegan's numbers:

27 minutes (of 48 possible)

1-4 (25%) from3
5-7 (71%) from 2
........................
6-11 (55%) overall shooting

4-4 (100%) FTs

As the numbers show, his 3s aren't falling like last year. That's because of the rise in level of defense and more cutting and creating on offense. At some point, I believe that the two will balance out a bit. He'll most likely never be a lockdown defender, but he'll be as close as possible to being a good two-way player. That's valuable to most teams.

The Kings are so inconsistent this season
The good thing is I can only find about 4 losses to non-playoff teams so they do seem inconsistent to me as well but at least they're mainly beating the teams they should and then losing to good solid teams. The Pistons loss and the Hornets loss stand out as the really bad ones, they also lost back to back to the Rockets early in the year which wasn't great.

I'm sure he'll turn it around, he's probably just a little...
