Kings/Cavs on NBA TV now LIVE. Keegan questionable (now out) with back soreness.
I see that the Kings have only played 9 players and that they lead by 12 at the end of the 3rd qtr.

Sac at Pistons tonight at 6 PM on NBA TV. Much improved Pistons team. Keegan listed as out. Jaden Ivey is out as well, due to that leg injury he suffered early in the season.
I don't expect the Kings to win. This is not the Piston team of previous years where they were at the very bottom of the league. Kings are fighting to hold the 9th spot in the Western Conference, assuring home court in the first play-in game.
Kings win at Detroit on the 2nd night of a back to back 127-117. DeMar with 37 and LaVine with 43.
Back injury.
Lavine has gone crazy the last two games to carry kings to upset road wins vs cavs and pistons.
When Zach gets in a groove like this he is a total game-changer with demarr s help.

Malik Monk is out tonight and will be re-evaluated in 2 weeks after sustaining a left calf strain injury. Keegan is questionable with lower back inflammation. LaRavia is out with a fractured thumb. Jamal Murray for Denver is doubtful with right hamstring inflammation.

Kings lose at home to the Clippers 101-100. Keegan with 9/8. If the Kings lose the next and final game, and the Mavs win their next and final game, then the Kings will drop to 10th place and lose home court advantage in the first play-in game.
The Suns are at the Kings in action right now at G1C, as part of a a full slate of season ending games. Kings are fighting for home court advantage in the first play-in game vs Dallas. Phoenix is without Booker, Durant, Beal, and Richards. If the Kings drop this game, then stick the fork in them. If they manage to win today, they'd have to face Dallas in the first play-in game at Sac. If the Kings lose today and Dallas wins, then they would face Dallas on their home court. And, if they were to somehow get by Dallas, they'd face Minny or Memphis on THEIR floor in the 2nd play-in game.
EDIT: Golden State lost today to the Clippers in OT, while Minny won vs Utah. That means that GS dropped to 7th and will play Memphis in their 1st play-in game instead of Minny, which moved up to 6th place in the standings with their win.

Kings outlast the Suns 109-98. Keegan had 6 points and 7 rebounds. Next up: Kings at home vs Mavs at Wednesday at TBD.
An original member of "The Beam Team" Terence Davis has signed with the Kings while Monk is out. He got some minutes today but did not score. Will be good to see him again.
Interesting bit of info: The Kings have identical losing records for home and away with 20-21.
Sac is not very good at home. Wouldn't get your hopes up too much. They give up an enormous amount of 3's too.
Might not be a bad thing, losing tonight. Get this crap game over with, get rid of McNair, re-evaluate the roster, and get a proven NBA coach to take the reins.
Mavs have lost 5 of their last 7, and they come to Sac and punk the Kings.

Doesn't help that Monk is out. Keegan missed 4 games and is playing less than 100%
But they likely clean house and start over this off season
I have the sound on "mute", but I can only imagine the fan response. Be interesting to hear the crowd at the end.
Just in- Monte McNair has parted ways with Sac per Sam Amick of The Athletic.
What a disaster for the Kings. Kind of hope Keegan can work his way out of Sacramento eventually.
Somewhat of a disappointing year for Keegan this year with his slow shooting start. Seems like he couldn’t really find a rhythm offensively throughout the year. Which isn’t surprising playing with ball dominant players like Fox, DeRozan, Lavine & Monk. Maybe this is what Keegan is. But I feel like he has more to offer.
