I believe this. Fran has his faults as a coach, but he knows how to handle players psychology and he is completely supportive of his players. He’ll pull Perkins out of it. He’s too valuable to us.Perk will turn it around just like Sandfort.

I mean, we intentionally gave him two fouls. What more does he want?Juan Howard is complaining about the 16 FT attempt disparity
4-6......Michigan
17-22: IOWA
WOW! KM played ALL 45 minutes?!Kris, once again, played the entire game.
Minutes played:
45: Kris
37: Connor
33: Payton
32: Filip
31: Josh Dix
ExactlyPerkins may become more valuable if he doesn’t feel like he needs to carry the team. He pushes too hard and I think he feels like he needs to be “the guy.”
You don’t sit Superman.WOW! KM played ALL 45 minutes?!
Yes, FM has to find a way to rest KM. You could tell at the end his legs were gone. You don’t sit Superman.
He’s real fine, our 509.^^ This ^^. Dix was absolutely exceptional. He may very well have been the player of the game for IA. He really won this game for IA (along with others for sure)!
I didn't think Ulis was playing badly. Was good on defense. Seemed to be hunting his shot (was 2-5) a bit too much, maybe getting out of his lane more than Fran prefers. Saucy was sloppy.
Dix has more size as Michigan is really long. He was able to get some nice looks and handled the ball well. I am jazzed as we went from no bench to wow!
Umm. We won. Kris is a unique athlete. He plays with conservation of energy. Some guys are like that. He wastes no energy. I’d play him 40 minutes every game.Yes, FM has to find a way to rest KM. You could tell at the end his legs were gone.
Sandfort's three point play off the Kris Murray air ball was some next level shit. Never lost sight of the ball, knew he had very little time to get the shot off and to contort his body and finish? Crazy.
This. He’s not just a shooter. Great rebounder. Great passer. Complete player. That long bounce pass to Bowen for the fast break lay up was beautiful.
I could not believe the rebounds. And 6 turnovers against a long athletic defense? I thought we were done when we were down 7 with under 2 minutes. Unbelievable. We stole that one.

Did he complain about the 5 free points and 1 lost possession we had from 2 obviously terrible calls?Juan Howard is complaining about the 16 FT attempt disparity

Fran wanted to bite his head clean off of his shoulders tonight. He’s in a dark doghouse it appears. Fran knocking chairs around and slamming clipboards is a very bad sign. Perkins hasn’t been the same since his injury. Seems lost at times.Perkins looked really frustrated on the bench
It''s no coincidence that Dix had hit at 2 big 3-balls prior to that point and played the #1 spot nearly flawlessly from late in the first half and most of the second half. It just seemed that Dix really gave him some confidence out there to me...

My guess would be both because their ball screen defense was really bad which didn't allow Fran to play man and double Dickinson like they game planned to.was he mostly mad at Perkins or was he mad at Ulis, too?

It's gonna be interesting to see minutes moving forward.
My guess is go with experience and adjust as needed like today. Also, I'll eat crow about Dix. He did look pretty good out there today.
Perkins is missing shots terribly. It's one thing to miss long or short but his shots are missing left and right and barely hitting the rim. Hopefully he gets his game backPerkins looked really frustrated on the bench
I think you could say Wisky stole one on us. It’s called life in the BT.I think one could argue we also stole the IU game (we were down by 21).
Instead of 3-3 in the B1G, we could easily be 1-5.
@MrsScrew probably thinks we stole one on the road at Rutgers, too![]()
