Hundreds feared dead in strike on Gaza hospital

There have been a ton of turn Gaza into a parking lot, we’d end it quickly, push em into the ocean-type posts.

I’m concerned because I don’t see any good ideas from anyone (including Israel) about how Israel plans to manage the war or the afterwards.
There are no good ideas if one side isn't willing to cooperate and acknowledge the other side's right to exist.

There's crickets because I have that idiot on ignore.
But you keep coming up with reasons why we all hate the jews.
Which is ironic as the people who are most in love with Israel seem to dislike Jews in general.

Just curious, who are the people that love Israel but dislike Jews?

Evangelical Christians. The want to see the Temple rebuilt so that Jesus will come back to earth and the Jews will have to convert to Christianity or die.
Holy cow, hadn't heard that one before, but then again I'm not a big religious person. That might backfire on the Christians, if Jesus doesn't come back to life do the Christians have to say Jesus was just a normal man and become Jews or die?

Sure, sure....

Or, and hear me out, some Jews could not approve of the Israeli govt because of personal morals and ethics. Just like some non-Jews.

The liberal MAGA crowd……gullible, lacking critical thinking skills and independent thought, consumers of propaganda.

Belem,

is this the only group of people that loves Israel and dislikes Jews?

I honestly don't know. If it were my call, I'd say it's not our problem and let Israel fight their own fights.

Unfortunately, I don't think that's the plan - I hope I'm wrong.
I agree with you.
I do not think the US needs to be actively engaged, and hope we won’t be.

So if these Christians hate Jews but yet they're for Israel over hamas, would that imply the Christians hate hamas more?
I have no idea.
I am not their spokesperson.
I am just aware of their existence.
Their reasoning for much of what they do is a mystery to me.

Then how do you know they like Israel and hate Jews? They must like Israel for a reason if they hate the people? You and Cig made the claim, not me.

I love how this thread just basically turned into a handful of posters pissing in each others faces.
I dream of the days when I could piss that high, for me it's more of pissing on their shoes (and mine).

I read the news. You should try it. There have been several articles about this recently. Cig gave you as much of a reason as I've seen.
Any reason you're trying to white knight them?

Not trying to white knight them at all. My guess is that while they dislike Jews they probably dislike hamas more.

And yet you’re so sure that Tlaib doesn’t support Hamas…because she never said so. But all them right wingers who hate Jews but love Israel are all over the place…because…well…just because. Hahaha. Rock solid as usual.

Can you point out where I said “all”

thanks in advance

Their philosophy seems to follow the saying, the enemy of my enemy is my friend, and that's why they've chosen Israel as their friend. In your case you too seem to follow that saying as well, but yet you've chosen hamas as your friend.

Obviously, Israel has its share of extreme Zionists but that type of hate isn't being taught nearly as openly and widely as it is in Palestine.

Did you read any of the articles that I linked in the post you responded to?

The current materials used to educate over half a million Palestinian children are a major obstacle to peace between Israel and the Palestinians... Their curriculum must change drastically if there is ever to be a lasting negotiated peace between Israelis and Palestinians. Why? Because these schools have been inciting three generations of young Palestinians to hate and kill Jews, to revere martyrs, and aspire to jihad. Parents of current students have been educated in the same schools, as have many of the 30,000 teachers employed by UNRWA. Perhaps most importantly, the education curriculum teaches that the so-called Palestinian Right of Return is to be achieved by war.
I don't believe that over half of a million Israeli students are being taught a curriculum that includes hating the Palestinians, wishing death upon them, or glorifying martyrs and fighting the enemies of Judaism. In my opinion, to try and use the "both sides" argument in this scenario is disingenuous.
They are both taught hate. You can say one side teaches it more but it exists on both sides.

I don’t see where AP “ran with it” in the past. From the start, the stories I read said Hamas blamed Israel and Israel blamed Hamas. Perhaps the Twitterverse ran with it…
Actually they referenced "Palestinian" sources. If they said Hamas (terrorists) I wouldn't bring it up. I would wonder why they give credence to a terrorist organizations claims though.
