Peace deals will be signed in the first 90 days imo. I assume Ukraine will have to abandon the territory it has lost in this conflict, but nobody else will need to die. I also assume there will be a hard no nato allowance for at least a decade or two (possibly indefinite) for Ukraine.

I hope it goes ok, the odds of that are minimal and the tail risks of something going very badly are much higher with Trump in charge and minimal adults willing to steer him in the right direction. A few here have made this board a lot less enjoyable than it used to be to.

It’s difficult to predict, burning alliances is a given. Tariffs of some sort increasing inflation. Pushing through a tax bill with reduced payments is a given, so debt continuing to rise and likely the bond markets beginning to have a fit. Going after the fed. Also going after media political opponents and immigrant. A possibility of international crisis and if Trump fells cornered could use nukes. A falling out with Musk with major repercussions. Continuing to stack the Supreme Court with far right justices that will do his bidding. Messing with future elections.. damn that was easier than I expected.
