These types of scopes are great for Moon, Sun, and deep space objects, even the asteroid Ceres. They are easy and quick to set up and they align themselves after being leveled. They can cut out light pollution so they work in urban areas.

You operate and view the images with your smartphone or tablet. They can track objects and store up light for minutes or even hours to enhance the brightness of deep space objects. Then you save the enhanced images on your device.

If someone on this thread could tell me how to embed a .JPG image I will paste some in here. I have tried a number of other methods to sell my scope as I want to go to a scope that has a much wider field of view.

They do not focus very well on planet details due to the shorter focal length and lens size. The whole kit comes with the scope of about 25 lbs, nice tripod, solar filter, and very nice backpack if you need to carry it.

If you are someone you know are interested just reply here or send me a personal type message on this board. Thanks

I'd love to rent something like that for about two weeks.

I doubt it would hold my interest that long to make it worth buying.

On Ramp to Deep Space
I’ve had an eVscope since the very beginning — 2020. It’s still going strong and has delivered many amazing performances. I live in a semi urban environment and I’ve easily seen the entire Messier catalog. I’ve tracked down small satellites for my professional groups. I’ve used it numerous times at star parties and it’s a big hit. I even caught the JWST on its way to orbit. It’s like a great hunting dog. I highly recommend it. It’s my “on ramp” to the deep universe."
