I declare that Winter is over.

Over 45 degrees every day for a week, and 60 on Sunday. This is it. Winter is over. We're in the clear.

It’s going to be 67 where I am today. Talk about spring fever. Unfortunately, as others have said, false spring. The 2 snowiest months of the year are right around the corner.

It’s been along time since central Iowa saw significant snowfall in march.

I don't get the feeling that winter is done with us yet. Although 10 day forecast has us above freezing temps well into March.

Above 40-50 Monday-Wednesday.
We're in the clear. I have declared Winter to be over.
Where the hell do you live? I thought you were around Iowa city. Might want to find a new weather source if you are around Iowa city. The weather you predicted for the weekend is not accurate.

Consider yourself lucky. It’s one of my least favorite things of Denver. We get a crap ton of snow in march and April. And it’s the heavy wet stuff.

I'll accept this answer. Meteorological spring starts Saturday the 1st. Will probably have a few days in the 30s for highs, but those look to be sparse. When you get snow after March 1 it's usually not met with an extended cold snap. The month ends with the average high in the upper 50s across much of the midwest, so even in the event a dramatic cold spell, say 20 below normal, you're still solidly above freezing much of the month.
