Sooo... Davison didn't hook and hold?
That was a jump ball before that? I thought you had to touch the ball to get a jump ball... Not grab arms.

Oh and JBo was at least a foot away from the defender that went flying backwards like got punched in the face.

Even the worst officials in America finally realized that you are the dirtiest team in America

Davison did hook Murray. Normally probably wouldn't be called that late, but his reputation precedes him. That very last out of bounds did seem to go off Iowa. Was surprised by that call. The Murray call where he hit the shot falling back, they probably call that most of the time regardless of team.

I said the same thing regarding the Davidson Hook. It was a hook but his reputation did him no favors with that call

The cop out double foul was yet another example of the officials managing the game rather than officiating it. They do the same thing when they wait for a shot to miss before calling the foul.

Let’s not forget the refs didn’t call the first where he pulled him down. They see it again and who is involved... Davison. No way they don’t call the second one. It’s a pattern at that point. He’s dirty and the refs knew it.
I thought the same thing. The announcers must not be familiar with him because they wanted a no call both times. The officials have likely seen his act now several times before so they know it’s no coincidence he is constantly involved in plays like that.

That double foul call reminds me of the chicken sh*t football penalty "off-setting penalties."

A foul that's a non foul. BS, IMO.

Is the "elbow" to Anderson the thing on the tie up with JBo? Because there was no elbow, though JBo did make contact using his shoulder. His elbow was nowhere near the WI dude.

yep just like the Jbo elbow missed trice in first half where he flopped. Or on the jump ball they had jbo’s forearm. Wisconsin players barely even touched the ball.

2 years in a row at carver that davison’s dirty tactics cost them in a close game. Beautiful. I just pray that dbag doesn’t taken advantage of the extra year rule.

Gard with strong words in the post game about the way Davison is treated by the refs. Said something to the effect that it's a crime the way he gets looked at closely by the refs. It's been "weaponized" by coaches against him. Kinda shows what kind of game Gard wants to teach if he thinks that stuff should be allowed. Jackass

Over the years, Bo Ryan got more than his share of whistles. I don't think Wisconsin made any shots to close the game. They just wanted free trips to FT line and make it FT shooting contest. I guess they are upset because they've been shooting like dog chit most of B1G and they finally got in a close game against a better opponent and
they wanted the refs to decide the outcome.

Whether the officials are familiar with how Davison plays should not play into their decision. They should rule only of what they see and that's what the officials did in this game.
Greg Gard is upset at the loss and should be, but his players are conditioned or better yet committed to play that style whether it be on offense or defense. They got caught with their fingers in the cookie jar and paid the prize....don't feel sorry for them one bit. About time the worm turned in our favor!

As if every other team's big men aren't shoving their chins into Garza to try to get an elbow called.

would love to see video evidence that ball went off iowa. thx in advance.

Didn't that s*head Gard defend Davison's nutshot to Connor last year, too?

I didn't really have any to start with, but Gard got no respect from this corner. Working on going negative, in that respect, like his boy BD.

I want S*consin to win their BTT game vs PSU - Vadgers an easier matchup for Iowa, especially if Weezy might be out - but I want some PSU guy to knock Davison's teeth out before that game is over. And stomp on his tiny nuts as he's writhing on the ground in pain.

IF the rodents win their first BTT game, the Hawks just need to jump out big on Friday night and keep the lead ballooned out. Refs won't let Wisky prolong the inevitable if game is decided early (hopefully!) and it being the last game of the night.

Davison deserves a lot more special treatment than he has gotten. I can't remember watching a Wisky game in the past few years, where there weren't multiple times when an opponent was either laying on the court or holding his face (or nuts) and Davison was involved in the play.

To say Davison isn’t dirty is to say that players just accidentally tripped over Grayson Allen’s foot time after time.

you don't think the 5th foul on Trice sending JBo to the line for 3 was a gift?

game tied with 40 seconds left - critical call

how about the potter basket and the foul with just under 4 min where he shuffled his feet and got away with a travel which was clearly shown In slow mo as they went to commercial. That was a critical call too that Wisconsin had go their way.

Perhaps most of these are true, but the flagrant on Davidson should have been a flagrant two, not a one. If you watch the replay that they ran from the back, you will see in addition to his right hand, his left hand was on his other shoulder pulling him backwards. There were bad calls on both sides. Just so happens that the ones you remember hurt your team.
