I hope Angelo is his own man

Imagine losing chittum over bringing in the Ferraris who then bail themselves.

This is Franek's last year and Angelo will be an 84-pounder anyway. That weight is a total and complete black hole. Who is going to fill that weight if Angelo doesn't come here?

Why does everybody think Angelo is gone? He signed his NLI a couple days after the signing period started, clearly showing a strong intent on coming here. If he was only coming here because his brothers were committed here I would imagine he wouldn’t have signed his intent letter before any of them got acceptance.

I was referring to the chittum comment. Angelo may very well still be a Hawkeye, lets not jump to conclusions.

He has not signed an NIL here. He's still in HS and hasn't enrolled for classes, thus not allowed. NILs here don't get signed until they arrive on campus.

NLI is not NIL.
The National Letter of Intent (NLI) is a binding agreement between a prospective student-athlete and an institution in which the institution agrees to provide a prospective student-athlete who is admitted to the institution and is eligible for financial aid under NCAA rules athletics aid for one academic year in exchange for the prospective student-athlete's agreement to attend the institution for one academic year. All colleges and universities that participate in the NLI program agree to not recruit a prospective student-athlete once he or she signs an NLI with another college or university. Therefore, a prospective student-athlete who signs an NLI should no longer receive recruiting contacts and calls and is ensured an athletic scholarship for one academic year. The NLI must be accompanied by an institutional financial aid agreement. If the prospective student-athlete does not enroll at that institution for a full academic year, he or she may be subject to specific penalties, including loss of a season of eligibility and a mandatory residence requirement.

Simply misread the letters. Don't need an NLI lesson.

As Jim Gibbons would say "No Sh**". Read the freaking thread before you type.
Maybe instead of doubling down on dyslexia, he did sign his NLI. The NIL does not affect the ability to transfer. Comprende? And who did the misreading? So before you fire off a smart ass comment maybe you should check your work.

AJ Ferrari will take an Olympic Redshirt and represent this country on the highest stage, wearing the red, white and blue for all to see. He'll come back to Iowa a changed man, full of patriotism, maturity and flex.
Is that you @lisamorales?

I admitted to twisting the letters around before you entered this thread. You're one of those guys that likes to hear his own voice. So keep regurgitating something everyone knows. Thanks Captain Obvious.

You're also on ignore, so type away at yourself.

You're a thin skinned douche - so there. And by the way, thanks for the update. If you think every person here reads the entire thread before posting you are smoking dummy dust. You should have just taken the loss and moved on.

AJ needs to stop running his mouth and get to work on himself. Enough of the victim bullshit.

Very well said. Wise words. Can you think of anyone else who needs to stop running his mouth and crying victim?

Why Vodka???? Why??
Because some around here appear to view that as business as usual. Or to label it as, “political.” Those same folks seem to mix up legal matters with political. And that’s wrong, imo.
