I don't get it. Unless Batman's suit is made of kryptonite, this isn't even a contest. Batman's a rich guy with gadgets and a fierce resolve. Superman truly has super-powers.
He'll use kryptonite for sure, just like he did in the story that this movie is loosely based on.
What's so funny about an extremely successful, multi-millionaire, 6ft 4 and buff, philanthropic, who is also an multi Oscar, Golden Globe, and BAFTA winning screen play writer, director and actor, who goes around banging some of the elite hotties in Hollywood like it's just a normal routine of his?
What was bad about the first one? My wife watches that film like it's porn. We always end up in bed afterwards.

The Dark Knight movies with Bale were incredible and that is who I will envision when I think of Batman. But Affleck is not a terrible actor. Argo, The Town, Gone Girl were great. Not to mention Bounce.

For me the first one was disjointed and the fight scene at the end went on far too long. Even for an action movie it was cartoonish. And worse of all there was no chemistry between Superman and Lois Lane. That's been a theme in this thread. But both guys suffer from the same limitation. Their personal code dictates that they don't kill good guys. How they deal with that moral code is one reason this movie will probably make a lot of money.
Which leads me to why Batman is trying to take down superman. I'm guessing Supermans destruction of Metropolis while fighting Zod, left Batman and the world feeling vulnerable. This Batman believes he needs to stop the man of steel.
I'm anticipating a fun popcorn movie, introducing contemporary themes and politics. Envy in play. Political correctness in play. Cult of personality in play. I like that wonder woman is coming on board for the fun. I get a chuckle when people say it's too "cartoonish". People looking for realism shouldn't spend much time or money on comic book movies. They're fun escapist romps when done right. Credit to DC and Marvel for upping their game.
I think Affleck is a talented guy. IMHO he's a dick-head who cheats on his wife and pouts like a child when he doesn't get his way.
Between this trailer and the first one, I've now seen six minutes of this movie and known the premise and likely outcome. At this rate, I may not even need to see it when it finally comes out.
Yeah, but be honest. That's true of so many blockbuster advertising campaigns. As far as the likely outcome. I don't think you needed a trailer to understand that DC is setting up a justice league movie in response to the success of the Avengers.
Yes, it is true, but it wears me out. I don't like going to movie when I've already seen many of the "best parts"...it detracts from the experience, IMO.
Then you shouldn't see it. The 3 others in this thread who won't go to the theater (but will rent it later) will result in the move only taking in 1 billion dollars versus 1,000,000,050.00 The producers can likely live with that result. After seeing the trailer, I for one still haven't seen 2 hours and ten minutes of the movie so those missing parts still intrigue me.

Plus people in one of Waynes buildings got killed. It was the same building Zod let loose his heat vision and the whole building collapsed. Did you notice the Robin Costume?
