But my favorite player is CJ followed by Garza. What a difference these two make inside and outside.
CJ is my favorite since WoolridgeGarza is my favorite hawkeye player since ...Armstrong ... ?
An honest to God warrior. Those are rare.
Don't forget the long pauses and creepy laughTo quote Fran...

Not seeing it. Good big ten role player, but really?CJ is my favorite since Woolridge
Found the douche, what do I win?Not seeing it. Good big ten role player, but really?
I was having these same thoughts tonight, except I was a Marble guyGarza is my favorite hawkeye player since ...Armstrong ... ?

Love CJ and he could get there but I just texted my buddy same thing but Garza.CJ is my favorite since Woolridge
And that's why Moss is a Jayhawk.DCAHawk - obvious troll, CJ has the total game and only 13 games into his career.
50% from 3 point, 54% field goal percentage, 2.9 assists per game at the 2 spot. Think about that.
And the thing is, he’s just as good on the defensive end and offensive off ball movement.
God, he is really, really good
Fran is doing an excellent job. He’s calmer with the players this year and that’s helping. He’s yelling less and coaching more. Great job tonight. Hope we kill Michigan at home.
I love CJ, but I think you are forgetting Horner. Not seeing what? That he’s already the most complete Guard Iowa has had since Marble as a Freshman? Could be big things if he can stay healthy.

Devon, or Roy?Not seeing what? That he’s already the most complete Guard Iowa has had since Marble as a Freshman? Could be big things if he can stay healthy.
Fun team.
Totally different feel from previous Fran teams.
I didn't think the guy could do it, but it just feels different.
You forgot Nunge. I'm still high on him until he proves me wrongI’m high on CJ and the idea of Bohannan, CJ, and Weezy on the court with Garza is great. The ability to add Conner, Joe T, Ulis, and Perkins next year makes for a happy outlook.
I do think CJ has been almost as key as Weezy this year and I’ll withhold taking sides until the season is over. We tend to forget that CJ is a freshman and he should get better as the season goes on barring the freshman wall or injury. I don’t sense the effort and killer instinct from Weezy that we saw last year. He’s still a player that is critical, but I think there’s a chance we see him step up his game as the season wears on.
Hopefully Luka doesn’t get swayed to try to jump to the NBA, but the future is bright for the Hawkeyes.
I would say the same about garza.CJ is my favorite since Woolridge
I agree that Connor has shown great improvement this year and is much more consistent shooting the 3.Connor is really damn good this year. His flexibility and consistency has been great.
and he’s only a sophomore.
Lots of folks want to compare Luka to #40, (may he rest in peace). I think he's more a 6 inches taller vershion of Brunner. Love the guy....Garza is my favorite hawkeye player since ...Armstrong ... ?

I think all the adversity, and what he's gone through with Patrick has changed Fran to some degree. Obviously the shorter bench has had an impact as well. The kids play hard for him, no doubt about that....Fun team.

In truth CJ is not really a freshman, nor should he hit the wall. He's been out of high school and working with the team for the better part of two years. He's also been well rested lately, so I don't think thats an issue if his foot issue is managed.I’m high on CJ and the idea of Bohannan, CJ, and Weezy on the court with Garza is great. Better to let the offense flow as it does. CJ gets his opportunities.Actually, CJ might be my favorite too. Tough call between the two. Both are outstanding.
Fran needs to build many more offensive sets to get CJ a lot more looks IMO.
Pemsl is starting to round into shape and is becoming a strong role player....scoring is still the primary concern.
And his insolent one-handed rebounds like he’s Sweet Lou Dunbar or some shit.I'm not concerned about Pemsl's lack of scoring... With this lineup we need Pemsl's defense, post feeds, floor experience and attitude,.. we've got plenty of scorers...
