Fran is entrenched and his team loves him I'm 55/45 he's staying right now

I think I could take another year of Fran but then what becomes of McCollum, who looks like a great Fit?. Fran is an old man, lame duck, and is going to have to be replaced next year anyway. It would be stupid for Beth to extend his contract when attendance is as bad as it is.
The biggest issue I see is who Portal's out after the season is over. IF DIX and Freeman are both gone, then we're going to be terrible next year because Fran didn't bring in any guards. No guards and no big man. With those two gone, that is big mark against Fran.

Fran is not the issue. He's old and has no upside. One, two, three more years...whatever, who cares. It's more of the same. Fran is not the issue.

Guys, Fran is gone when the season ends. Maybe this weekend. There has not been one word of support from the AD or anyone in the athletic department. I like Fran, but his time at Iowa is close to an end. 100%.

Not butts in Carver all season say he is fine. He doesn't coach defense at all and even rebounding he doesn't care. All he cares is if they score a lot.
This is strictly a business decision and with a major decline in fan attendance, our A.D. will have to make the tough decision of buying out Fran's remaining contract. He will be gone.
