I wanna get UNI and Drake back on the schedule immediately

They could go with a deal for having two games at Carver and one at UNI/Drake rotation if they really want to play us.

Home and home against those schools along with Iowa St. It wouldn't surprise me . If the Big Ten at some time expanse the Big Ten schedule to 22 or 24 games in the future, that would only leave 7 or 9 non conference games, will see if the happens.

Name an SEC, Big 12, or Big 10 team that plays a Drake/UNI level team on their court. I doubt you will find any team in a power conference that does this. Drake and UNI are always welcome to play Hilton for sure, but why would ISU or Iowa return the favor? Does Kansas play anymore at Wichita State? Nope.

I’d be fine with a home game at Carver followed by a neutral site, but that’s as far as I’d take it.

More important in my mind is to bring back those things that gave fans the opportunity to see the team and interact. Things like the PTL, black and gold blowout, shirts and skins, etc.

Maybe take a page from the football team and hold some events/scrimmages in DSM, Quad Cities, etc. You get fans back by being as accessible as possible.

Losing to UNI and or Drake isn’t going to matter one bit when it comes to making the ncaa tournament.

Grow up and play home and away.

It’s nauseating to hear Iowa cry poor given the money they rake in from TV. A home game against Shitwater St that tips off at 8pm on a Tuesday isn’t exactly filling the bank account.

Play all the instate schools home & away.

Same goes for Iowa State.

So sick of Iowa & Iowa State being too chicken shit to play in Knapp & McLeod.

It’s a great challenge to have to play at those venues.

And a loss isn’t going to kill their tourney chances.

I'm not that passionate about it, but I'd like to see those games return in a 4-year cycle:

Y1 - UNI home, Drake away
Y2 - Drake home, UNI away
Y3 - both at home
Y4 - one at Wells Fargo (the other 4 years later)

I would be down for this.
