I will take the black one

Point being no one was outraged when it was said, due to the context of the group of people he was speaking to. It was later framed as a remark about an opposing candidate that was months from even being a candidate at the time.
Yes, I understand there is a greater context. There always is.

Here’s the thing: When Biden had his “You ain’t black!” gaffe, he was attempting to be humorous and got absolutely roasted for it. So much so, that many critics on the right said it reflected the Democratic Party’s “plantation” mentality that blacks owed them loyalty. To be honest, I agreed with them to an extent and still think that attitude exists in the Democratic Party today in terms of many Democrats thinking blacks should vote for them. I don’t think it’s as nefarious as conservatives made it out to be, but they had a valid point.

Now, let’s address Trump. Trump has a history of going after Obama, most noticeably the racist birther nonsense, trying to delegitimize the first president who wasn’t fully white. Fast forward to Trump speaking to a crowd of mostly black conservatives and for some reason he thinks it’s cute to say something equally, if not more stupid, than what Joe Biden said. There was no reason to make anything about a “white president” and a “black president.” And yes, it reflects the Trump mindset that the “white president” is better than the “black president,” and that he’s speaking to a crowd of Uncle Toms nodding their heads while saying, “Yes, mastuh.” But, because it’s Trump, he’s not really slipping up and saying how he actually thinks, we are all just not hearing him correctly and even if he said that he really didn’t mean it in the “context” it was spoken in.

So, once again, we see two different sets of standards: one for Trump and one for everyone else. It was absolutely a huge deal when Biden said the stupid thing he said, but meh, the libs are just making mountains out of mole hills about Trump, as usual, when Trump says the quiet part out loud.

With Trump, it never matters. Again, he could get caught ****ing a 9-year old on 5th Avenue and there would be a greater context everyone is missing. Always.

Imagine sane-washing this:

"I love this great equipment. Although the plane's 32 years old, I ordered new ones, and I saved $1.7 billion from what Obama was willing to pay. I have to tell you, [he's a] Black president, but I got $1.7 billion less. Would you rather have the Black president or the white president who got $1.7 billion off the price? I think they want the white guy right now. Got $1.7 billion off the price."

I don’t think the context helps the Orange Turd’s cause here.
Not surprising NorthernHawkeye thinks there’s a greater context the libs are missing.

I’m sure he had a similar reaction to Biden’s “You ain’t black!”

Northern is a liar and is full of shit.

Because at least she isn’t a complete piece of shit.

But, hey, at least Trump has the stones (or dementia) to say out loud what the MAGA idiot brigade won’t.

Thanks @DFSNOLE for providing this tweet. It deserves its own thread so it can be referred to the next time anyone questions how Trump and MAGA really think.

Racist as fvck. So are his voters.

What have I lied about?

But it’s okay because Trump was speaking to a group of mostly black people.

So, for the record: Joe Biden’s “You ain’t black!” gaffe is completely racist and reflects the Democratic Party’s plantation mentality.

Donald Trump’s unsolicited remarks about a white president being better than a black president does not reflect Trump’s mindset of whites being better than blacks and does not mean Trump thought he was addressing a group of “Yes, mastuh” Uncle Toms.

In case you’re keeping score at home.

Use common sense, brother!

Even if the whole word salad made sense, why would it be relevant to the 2024 election? Obama's not running.

There is no deal breaker with the MAGA idiot brigade.

Trump could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and **** a 9-year old and not lose support from @NorthernHawkeye, @Scruddy, @Here_4_a_Day, @TonyTheTiger.1865, @Phenomenally Frantastic , @Whiskeydeltadeltatango, and other esteemed members of the MAGA idiot brigade.

Rape, pedophilia, felonies, dementia, etc., etc. None relevant to the issue of “policies.”

Dems & Kamala “Vote for me, first Black woman President”

Trump “Black President”

Dems in unison: “OMG THATS RACIST gargle gargle spittle.”

Dude got caught eye banging a 10 year on an escalator and Rs just shrug their shoulders. Part of me feels that MAGA would be jealous if Trump was officially found out to be a child rapist.

I try to not get in political posts, and am only only posting facts here for context since no one has yet. That was said in February. It was at an event for black conservatives. The comparison was his presidency to Obama's.

It's also something dumb to say.
That's where panning to the audience would have been nice. Kinda like when the white comic makes a black joke, then the camera pans to the audience in search of a black person to make sure everything is still gtg.

It was dumb thing to say, but thanks for putting it into context.

Nah. Here's the theme I see with a ton of posters on here. Anything less than full blown hatred of Trump is not acceptable.

For example I am someone who believes the whole narrative of him becoming a dictator and starting a 200 reign of the Trump Dynasty is just fear porn and honestly really laughable. BUT I'm also NOT voting for him.

Somehow though you are still attacked for that belief and decision. Then a small part of me for 10 minutes kind of hopes he wins just to piss people off. That's how he wins this election.
He just ****ing said explicitly that he would use the US military against US citizens because they're "more dangerous than China, Russia and all these countries", you sack of crap. He'll be Commander-in-Chief of the US military.

See that part in my post where I said I'm not voting for him? It's a little over halfway through my post. Maybe @Huey Grey can help ya find it.

I’ve said this many times, Trump didn’t create the racism, he just normalized it so people like Northern felt comfortable being out in the open with their racism.

LOL...you thought that was a threat? Seriously?

Damn...you're even dumber than I imagined. So - yes - I fully expect you'll vote for Trump despite your horseshit denials.
He's all in on Trump. Dude even admitted it in the poll thread. But he's too stupid to keep his story straight.

Yup...criticizing what Trump actually says is how you insure that Trump wins. That shit is so transparent only an idiot would think it would fool anybody....and Buttboy fits the bill.
