A message to my liberal friends…

All Trump has to do is get gas and diesel prices down by flooding the country with oil.

Manufacturing, production and goods transportation costs will plummet and kill inflation.
Great, let’s see if he follows through, because he talked a good game the first time but didn’t deliver on much. By your standard flooding the country with oil/fuel should be an easy fix, so, hopefully by February or March we should see results.

Todays a great day to be a straight white male.

I’m curious the specific mechanism you think will help make this happen. How does the Trump admin flood the country with oil? Does he command the oil companies to drill? How does he stimulate the demand necessary to make them want to drill?

And when OPEC drops their production to keep prices high, how does that help Americans buying products made in countries that import OPEC oil?

And when he puts additional tarriffs on the products made in those countries, thus raising prices, how is that going to help?

You must have studied economics and been involved in this area more than me to be so confident, so help me out. Because in my 30 years of international business, including running a technology manufacturing business that dealt with imports and tariffs I don’t see it.

I hope for America’s sake that I’m wrong and that Trump does great things for the average American, but I’m pretty confident these policies won’t actually improve things.

I just hope the average person will see that clearly in the next election.

Provided we have another election .
As the president elect stated if you elect me you won’t have a need for elections anymore

Oh Lunchy.......how you feeling this FINE morning? 3/3. Are you going to move out of the country with all the other celebs, or just drink bleach like Bette Midler. Let me know.

What a FINE morning it is.
Can't wait for inflation and the border to magically no longer matter with the Rs.

Harris was fine, as I've said repeatedly, if you needed some kind of political messiah to beat Trump and MAGA then the country was phucked and lost already.

America goes into a dark age, Americans who voted for him in particular deserve everything they're gonna get.
On a completely unrelated note....do you happen to drive a black midsized SUV manufactured by the luxury division of Ford?

Yeah, we lost. And Rs will suddenly no longer care about inflation and the border. It's ok for you to admit that it was a manufactured outrage by them.

We care about inflation and the border. Reducing government will help with inflation. The D's will try to take Trump to court on the border. It remains to be seen how that works out, but I like Trump's chances.

No you don't. It's just like the deficit. It only matters with a Dem in charge. It's ok to admit that DonOld is full of shit when it comes to actual solutions. Just like he was full of shit with his border wall.

One moment you are discussing the border and inflation. Now you are blabbing about deficits. Make up your mind. You are all over the place.

Take a deep breath. It will get better when Trump becomes President again.

At least most of you guys are acting like adults compared to the losing side in 2020.

People have short memories.
She lost. I don't like it. But I won't be trying to storm the capitol. I'll just be bitching on here for the next four years on a daily basis about how shitty of a president Trump will be. As is the right of any loser.

We agree. You are a loser.

Man, Huey is absolutely going off the deep end. His inability to self-reflect is a yuge tell as to why Trump won.

Dems are never wrong and anyone who supports a Republican candidate is a piece of shit.

Calm down. The sun will continue to rise.

How will Trump deport 20 million people? That's his promise. How does he logistically do this? You know, in reality? DonOld certainly failed with his border wall. Are we just to accept in blind faith this empty promise won't go the same failed route?

We will start with the criminals and go from there. We will also slow the flow into the U.S.

So we deport criminals instead of locking them up? That's the plan? How soft is DonOld on these guys?

If they committed the crimes in other countries, we will deport them.

There is no sense in the U.S. paying to lock up criminals that committed crimes elsewhere. It certainly beats the alternative of having them run loose on our streets, which is what the D's have done.

I come in peace (kinda).

I hate Donald Trump and am disappointed that, as I write this, Donald Trump is likely to win.

With that said, Democrats have no one to blame but themselves for this. Kamala is not a good candidate. She has minimal appeal outside of a very very liberal base and the only reason she is keeping this election reasonably close is because Donald Trump is so bad.

Yes, she is likely going to lose to a felon, a rapist, a narcissist, a child, a whiny little bitch, and a complete and utter piece of shit. And as you scratch your collective heads wile stewing about all of that, as a bunch of uneducated white heterosexual males prepare to rub your faces in it, perhaps consider why this is so. (I’ll give you a hint: it starts with the people you hate on—you know, the ones rubbing your faces in this right now who make up a large voting bloc.)

I don’t like the fact Trump is being rewarded for being the piece of shit he is, but the truth is plenty of people outside the MAGA idiot brigade made this possible. Democrats need to figure out why, because clearly the strategy of “Trump and MAGA are poopy butts” isn’t landing with as many people as you would like to think.

To my conservative friends:

I know Kamala was a bridge too far for a lot of you, but Trump winning this election, assuming things continue as expected, is not a good thing for America. It really isn’t.

I just hope we survive the next four years and can have a serious election in 2028 because this election was ridiculous.

To everyone: No matter who ends up winning the presidency, we need to figure out how to come together and at least coexist. This deep-seated hate is not good for anyone. Time to chill and move forward as a country.

Good night.
Great post other then the highlighted portion. Of course everyone will survive because nothing ever changes in our country or with in our politics. It'll be the same as the last 4 years, and the 4 years before that and the 4 years before that and so on and so on.

So an immigrant Trump rapes someone here and we just deport him so that he can run loose in whatever country he's from and just come back here to rape again? You guys are babyshit soft on crime.

You also are proving that you have no serious ideas about the border

I agree with you in principle, but I was more thinking along the lines of WWIII and the possibility Trump is the final anti-Christ this dude on my YouTube feed keeps talking about.

If not, yeah, we’re good, bro.

Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit.

Stuff changes. . . maybe you don't personally notice it but stuff changes.

The Affordable Care Act was big deal for myself and my family. So was the expanded child tax credit. If that would have been made permanent it would have changed our lives massively.

Things do change slowly I will admit. A side effect of the filibuster and our 2 party deeply divided political system. But stuff does change. Who is in charge does affect people's daily lives and the less those people have the more that they are affected by it.

One of the privileges of being well off is having political decisions only affect how much you pay in taxes.

My ability and my children's ability to get healthcare depends heavily on if Trump decides to attempt to overturn the ACA.

I'm repeating your exact argument genius. You said that we should deport criminals instead of locking them up. So an immigrant murders your wife and you're ok with simply deporting them?

Your demeanor and those like you turned off the missing young vote. You were ghosted.

Uhhh…sure.

Do you feel better?
I’m glad it’s over and very glad that there seems to be a collective sigh of relief from the country as a whole.
And I LOVE seeing the Dow up over 1,000 points this morning. That should make anyone with more than ten dollars in their 401 happy, right?
