I've just come to that conclusion.

Both candidates appeal to the very real anger Americans have with what's going on. Both offer hope of a significant change. But that change looks very different.

I think that contest could be great for our democracy.

Everybody else will take orders from Big Money once in the White House. They just will. Those guys might not.

So pick your vision of the future - Bernie's or Donald's - and let's have that conversation at the highest level for the first time in a very long time.

Yes, this means I am supporting Donald for the GOP nomination. Unless and until he does something totally unforgivable that he doesn't walk back. Which could always happen with Donald.

If Sanders is the nominee, Bloomberg says he's in the race, too.

So, a socialist vs. two billionaires.

It would be the best chance for exposure on campaign finance reform and trade. It could drag some other subjects to the surface that a usually smothered too.

If it was say Rubio and Clinton it would probably all be ISIS, immigration reform posturing, and ACA.

It would be fun.

But, the DNC won't come close to allowing it's name to be changed to the SNC.

It might force them to better define themselves and not allow the GOP to keep defining who they are(n't)!

I think they'll have to do that anyway.

They accidentally allowed a 3rd party candidate to hijack their brand.

They cannot allow Bernie to become their mascot.

No way it will just be a Sanders vs. Trump fight.

I could see another 2 candidates running.

I think it would be Trump in a two person race unless as you said he does something more stupid than he already has. I would give the odds on that at 50/50.

Ugh, Trump vs. Bernie. It's ensures one of the two most dangerous candidates wins. I'd vote Bloomberg surely, and I don't know much about him.

Question: For those who know Bloomberg, would he hurt Trump or Bernie more?

Bernie.

Won't happen. Bernie's already lost. No sense in being in denial about it.

Bloomberg would take away your guns, your smokes, and your Big Gulps.

I am afraid this is all setting up for a huge Hillary victory against Trump. I think that she will actually get some establishment Republican support in this scenario.

Lots of people are excited about Trump (for good or bad). No one is excited about Hillary.

Yes because bern is doing so well against an old lady with coughing fits and brain aneurysms and strokes and a criminal background, yes, he should be able to take on trump

I agree. No one is excited about her, but she is establishment and they will rally around their own in the end.
You know what I'd like to see (other than the WWJD scenario)? The GOP Central Committee come out and endorse Hillary. At least we'd get confirmation that the GOP is in bed with the DNC.

Couldn't we just replace many of these inept fools with pornstars instead? At least we'd have something to look at for the next 4 years.

So here's hoping Annie Cruz, Bianca Trump, Sierra Sanders, Kimberly Carson, and Hillary Scott are simply a little behind in getting their campaign financing in order.

please give me your definition of "liberty"? Even at best "liberty" has limits and trade-offs. Where do your liberties begin and end and where do mine start and end?

That's easy. My liberties end where yours begin and vice versa. I have the liberty to swing my arms around all I want, but those liberties end where your nose begins.

True. Now do you have the right to prayer in school during schooltime and/or activities? Where do the rights of prayers begin/end and where do the rights of those not wanting the distraction begin or end?

Yes, you have an individual right to pray whenever you want. If others don't want to listen, they shouldn't have to. If your prayers are so loud that they disturb other students and prevent them from completing their work, then you have exceeded the bounds of your liberty.

Ever been to a high school football game in Texas? If you don't want to hear it..or if your Jewish or Hindu or Muslim....you have to delay your arrival to the game until after kick-off.
All too often "Christians" are overbearing and way too presumptive in the desire to express their belief. Yet, these same folks scream "Bloody Hell!" if they feel their right to practice as they see fit, is the least bit infringed.

I don't think anyone here is surprised that you do not know what Liberty means.

that is why I am asking you oh wise one. You tell me. You seem to have it well in your mind. And remember, other folks have their "liberty" too. Is it alright if their liberty is infringed upon as long as your rights are are maintained? If that's the case, that sure changes my outlook of slavery.
