Again, IMO the topic is irrelevant, and is probably super convenient for those looking for an excuse to look away from what's happening. The story is the Chief Executive going beyond the bully pulpit and threatening action he has no authority to wield against an entire state.

You are absolutely nuts. This isn't the argument, my stance, is for high schoolers, who are fully transitioned (which should be incredibly slim), should be allowed to participate in their transitioned state. There is very few and in most cases they are not the athletic monsters you worry about. In either case this is a nothing burger. Other than upsetting you, in most cases it never becomes an issue. It only becomes an issue when a bunch of republicans want to make an issue of it. For example the San Jose volleyball player. I've been told she was the 3rd best player on the team. She had been transitioned since high school. There was safety concerns, if so there were 2 players just from the Nebraska volleyball team that hit harder than her. So ultimately it became a big issue, because a bunch of republicans wanted to make an issue of it.

I am not as a big of a proponent for college sports, absolutely not for professional or any event that has a monetary or significant reward. Thats my personal opinion, but its nothing im going to die on a hill for.

I’m honestly confused - what lie do I believe? I know the Maine governor is taking a stand on state’s rights. But that is not how this will play out in the court of public opinion. The GOP will weaponize this because it is easier for everyday folks to see it as a boys in girls sports topic. The Dems will not be able to do to counter that because the GOP has branded the Dems as the party that favors boys in girls sports even if it is not true,
