Way back in 2015. As opposed to how far back for the skirts?
Since joining the B1G Nebraska has five 9 win seasons to Iowa's two. Nebraska has 60 wins to Iowa's 63. Both have one West title each during that period.
Maybe Iowa should join the Big 12 so they can win something, amirite?

Again skirt fans love to tout averages.
Here is what you don’t see. You don’t see Hawk fans over on other teams boards trying to convince them how mighty we are with our history despite losing to them 4 years in a row. But we all need to laugh, so at least skirt fans can provide something to this board.
I want to make sure I am following..... Nebraska co-dominates the Big 12, comes to the B1G and has similar or less success than Iowa..... so then yes, it seems Iowa would dominate the Big 12. Stepping down in quality of conferences could do that. Thanks for sharing.

The goal post gets moved when the narrative gets changed, like in your instance.
I know, wish the Nebraska fans would quit changing the parameters. It’s tough for a person to keep up with.
I'm not here to defend the Big 12. I like Nebraska in the B1G. But facts matter. Since 1996 when the Big 12 formed, NU, OU, and UT won a NC. In the B1G it was OSU twice and UM once.
I do think the B1G is a better overall conference now after all the realignment.

My narrative is the same. Nebraska has had nothing to crow about since the VHS era.
Because the Big wasn’t inferior from the 1960’s- 2000.

Again you don’t see Iowa fans over on other team sites like say Wisconsin telling them how much better we are because of what we accomplished the past 20 years.
But then again we get to laugh at skirt fans for thinking what they did in an inferior conference more than 20 years ago equates to them being mighty today.
Anybody can win a debate reciting history. Nebraska's national championships, conference titles, undefeated seasons and mutual w-L records vs. Iowa's current win streak against the Huskers, although lopsided are in the books. What's important is going forward at this point. The argument that's relevant is 2019.
So then why do skirt fans come here and try to convince us you are so much better because of your history 20 years ago?
Iowa has won 5 of the last 10 games versus Nebraska and 10 of the last 20. games.
More likely than not, Iowa will beat Nebraska 8-12 times in the next 20 games.
There's no debate in games gone by (history) There is debate in the 8-12 figure.
Time will tell.
There may be streaks just like the one Iowa is on now, but it is more likely that Iowa and Nebraska will be evenly matched most years, then Nebraska returns to a time where it wins no fewer than 9+ games for 25+ seasons.
Remind me where I said Nebraska has been the better football team the past 4-5 years. Overall, I think Iowa has had the better team the past 4-5 years. Past decade...it's close. Historically...it's not close.

Yes 2019 would be the argument when you have not won the last 4 years. Yes, the last 4 years UNL has not beat that horrible Iowa program. Get over yourselves. UNL has not done sh__ since they had a one game schedule (OU) in the Big 8. Those days are long gone even with Frost and his huge arrogance. That won him 4 games in 2018.

I will say this I worry about the game in Lincoln this year but I have to say it sure gets old the Nebraska fans coming on this board every offseason to tell us how great they are going to be next year. We hear it from you every year. This is our year because we out recruit Iowa, we have a better legacy than Iowa, blah blah blah blah blah. But when the day after thanksgiving has rolled around the last 4 years Nebraska has been on the wrong end of the scoreboard. This is the only stat that matters in this discussion.
Nebraska is like ISIS. They had their day beating up on Kansas and Iowa State. Now, they're getting their ass kicked from all sides.
None of Little Debbie's incoming freshmen were alive when they last won a conference championship.
