If Israel doesn't accept cease fire - f em

Agree they have every right but should they at all costs. Unless they can subjugate the Palestinians like we did Native Americans it won’t work.

They're not doing it "at all costs" or they could literally wipe out every single person. They have the right to do what they need to do to get back their hostages and take out the current government.

That is the most disingenuous take I've ever heard, I don't know a single true American cheering for Russia. The left has tried to fabricate this nuanced stance that because the right wants to make sure our money is being spent properly in Ukraine and wants to tie funding for both Israel and Ukraine to protecting our own border, that is synonymous with supporting Russia. Give me a break, the anti-American left never seems to amaze me.
You are correct about one thing no true American is cheering for Russia. The problem is there is a lot of un-American assholes on the right which have already been named here showing you yes there are many who are cheering Russia on.

And as for the funding why aren't you mad at your own side for playing politics with it? The Dems and sane senate Republicans put forth a bi partisan bill to fund all 3 but Rs in the house won't take it up for a vote. Because that's bad news for their daddy little dick. As usual you are wrong but hey at least this time you helped identify there are un-American assholes in the republican party so props for that!

Hamas is not just their government tho - it’s also a terrorist organization with some 30k fighters. Bibi has on multiple occasions stated his desire/goal here is to utterly wipe them out.

Unless Hamas was really stupid and kept everyone in Gaza after they attacked Israel, this isn’t a goal they’ll be able to meet.

If the Palestinians can't govern themselves in peace then I would expect Israel to govern for them. If the UN want's to step in, fine, but someone has to do the job. There's millions of people in Gaza and if they can't help to remove 30,000 fighters, then something is wrong with the people. I know there's a large portion of the population that's women and children but there has to be enough men to help remove hamas.

Agreed, but unfortunately that’s not how it’s viewed. Amongst the next generation of jihadists. Unlike the US we don’t have to live next door. Israel always will.

Unfortunately, from their perspective, Israel isn’t just attacking Hamas here.

ive said before, Israel needs to find a counter move to support over Hamas, because right now they’re the only game in town, and Bibi hasn’t cared much about making friends with Palestinians.

"Israel said if 134 hostages are not released there will be a ground offensive in to Rafa. The US urged Israel to refrain."

Why are they not urging hamas to release the hostages?
Bc their voting base identifies with Hamas and the Palestinians. There's really nothing complicated about it whatsoever.

There's different stages of need to take place and this stage is all about getting the hostages and removing hamas. Once that's done then the rebuilding can begin with the hope the Palestinians don't just go back to hamas. We'll see what happens.

I personally feel it's a lose-lose situation. I think the Palestinians will go back to a hamas like government. You can take the terrorists away from the people, but you can't take the terrorist acceptance out of the people. We see this in our own country now. Even if you try to remove a insurrectionist, the people sill support and accept the views. It's a flaw with the people that really can't be fixed. Maybe with time.

Agreed, If this wasn't an election year or it was the end of Biden's second term, you might see a different response. This is all about getting reelected. I hope behind the scenes Biden is telling Israel to push on, because that's what we would be doing.

“Why do I care what’s going on in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia? And I’m serious – why do I care. And why shouldn’t I root for Russia – which I am”.

- tucker carlson
I have no idea if Tucker actually said that or not, but if he did, that's is Tucker's opinion and is not a reflection of 99.9% of the people on the right.

it's really easy...you just bomb until all the terrorists are dead then everything's fine!

it's worked for america all across the globe, why won't it work for israel too?

Israel has every right to defend itself and eliminate threats to its survival.
The kids and young adults killed who were enjoying a music festival on October 7 would confirm this but they cannot.
The survivors who were brutally beaten and gang raped are just young women so they were probably just asking for it, right?
I 100% support Israel and I’m not surprised that the world media supports continuing appeasement of those who want to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.

When where and why did Tucker Carlson become some front man spokesperson for anyone who can walk and chew gum at the same time?
I never see or hear about him anymore and it seems he’s become a bit unhinged per quotes from some on this site who think he represents a large swath of Americans.

he was the prime time fox news guy for 7 years...google tucker carlson ratings - he did very very well (best on cable news well)

you'll get no argument from me that he says some unhinged things...but to act like he was some random guy with no audience is absolutely ridiculous

During those 7 years he did have an audience- not unlike others who held sway on other cable networks.
But we don’t have daily quotes from ex-CNN types or MSNBC spokespeople do we?
What I’m saying is he’s history and he’s living off outraging lefties who are keeping his importance alive.

I just don’t see how it’s possible to remove Hamas the way Israel is going about it, and even if they did somehow, they’re only going to get a new group that’s the same or worse than Hamas. That’s why they need to find an alternative first.

people that want to disingenuously act like tucker carlson is some random no name dude with no influence on the right aren't really of concern to me

Almost every Jew I'm associated with is Liberal. But it has become a struggle for Jews as of late because the far left Liberals tend to be for any group (even terrorists) that they feel are "victims". For some reasons Blacks hate the Jews which makes it hard to be on the same side. The far right are a bunch of white supremacists. The Jews don't fit into that group as well. They're doing too good financially for the far left to include them as "victims" and they're not "white christian" enough for the far right.
New party idea? The Judahcrats? The Isrelicans? Hmmmm.

You don't get rid of cancer by praying it goes away. You have to be aggressive and get rid of it and hope it doesn't come back. If it does, you fight that battle. Same thing here.

Please provide the "alternative way" that you're talking about. if the Palestinians can't clean up Gaza once hamas is gone, then maybe the problem isn't hamas but really the Palestinians. If trump get's back in office, is the real issue (with the U.S.) trump or the people who are voting for him. Israel can only get rid of hamas, after that it will be up to Palestinians to straighten out Gaza. We'll see what happens.

the t-shirt says, "I'd rather be a russian than a dem cuz dems are so low I don't wanna be that- and that is really saying something because I hate russians, they are real low, so dems are even lower than that!!" that's what it says cliff notes version. but they had to shorten it to fit on the t-shirt.

tucker was talking about how low the dem-run cities in the usa have become. I agree. low as in- in the gutter.

russia=ukraine=dem so no wonder we don't support them with money!! duh.

I don't see how that is support for russia, but go on and explain....

If we're making up the meaning of the shirt, I'll play along. Russia is run by a dictator, while democrats are for democracy. trump also operators as a dictator as well. it makes sense that trump supporters would rather be a Russian over a Democrat because trump supporters prefer a nation run by a dictator. The trump supports are always going to support nations run by dictators.

lol, you have the worst takes dude.
Is MSNBC/CNN not siding with Hamas here? Did 70-80% of Palestinians NOT vote for Hamas? If you think about who aligns themselves with Israel, is it Ds or Rs? Which party aligns itself with Hamas best interests?

I don't even think Israel is guiltless for the climate that exists, but the reality is they were attacked, again, and they've had enough. They have a right to defend themselves, and the people of Gaza support Hamas, a terrorist group, to the tune of 70-80% support. I just don't have much sympathy for the position they've put themselves in here, and I don't think Israel owes the terrorist regime an easy out.

just saying this on cable news would put you in the "supports hamas" category

Wasn’t it Hamas that refused to verify proof of life of the hostages, this shitting on the ceasefire?

Some of you need to get it into your microbrains and do some soul searching. Calling out Israel does not mean supporting Hamas. It is that Us vs. Them; black/white mentality that creates so many damn problems around the world.

Not sure why you responded like that. It wasn’t my intent. Your thread title on if Israel refuses the ceasefire was my target. To each his own I guess.
