In a Democracy, the Majority rules. If the majority decided they wanted your bike, they could take it.

In a Republic, your bike is your property and you do not owe it to anyone. It cannot be taken against your will, by law.

America is a Constitutional Republic.

Therefore, the Constitution is the law by which we are supposed to be protected.

In a Republic, the individual is protected FROM the majority, by Constitutional law.

A Constitutional Republic is what we were given. It's up to us to KEEP it.

Anything that allows the majority to rule and take things from us, is nothing less than Socialism by definition.

What if Billy’s bike has a banana seat and makes me feel tingly when I jump it over plywood ramps?

Can I legally take Billy’s bike then?

Also: if anyone thinks the current system and players are designed to protect the minority, they’re an abject moran.

This republic seems to be taking a lot of cash out my paycheck, I should have asked to receive payments in bicycles.
