If Stanford makes the playoff is Oregon Rose Bowl bound?

Who else would it be? That would squeeze out who? 2nd ACC team? ND? 3rd B1G team?

Do we need to cheer for USC to be safe? And maybe cheer for Clemson too? I don't think we can fall below FSU, but could be behind both UNC and Clemson if Tarheels win

Oregon and Utah are the only other two ranked Pac-12 teams outside of USC and Stanford. So if Stanford wins and sneaks into the playoffs, I imagine Oregon is the choice to go to the Rose.

That would set up a likely Oregon vs. OSU matchup, which would be a repeat of last year's championship game.

Doesn't the NY6 selection guidelines say they try to avoid rematches of previous year's bowl games? Just sayin...
