If you are a Chiefs fan you don't want this one to end.

Yeah, the KC defense has been good lately but I think most would agree the Texan offense is woeful.

Defense and special teams are both solid. Offense is playing more than good enough and today really utilized a lot of different weapons and looks.

Missed on a couple opportunities to really put the screws to the Texans earlier (which is important on the road) but still it was a very good overall performance.

I believe they had stat that showed Houston had a +59 pt differential their final 8 games which led the NFL. I wouldn't characterize their offense as woeful.

I watched the whole thing. Yes, Houston was bad today, but that wasn't the case for them the last 8 games prior to today. I'd go so far as to say that Hoyer and WRs were bad. Houston run game was solid. And yes, I am a KC fan.

That's something an untrained eye would say. I'm not saying Hoyer wasn't bad though. Poe left the center in the dust on the pick at the goaline and forced Hoyer into a throw with his pressure. Not a pick Brady or another great qb would have thrown, but still forced. Bailey drove the LT into Hoyer for the fumble. I'd have to go back and look at the other turnovers but you can't say none were forced. Pressure from a defense can make an average QB look terrible. You could probably make a case for nearly every turnover ever not being a forced turnover if you really put your mind to it. "Well he should have thrown it away, taken a sack, covered up the football, etc." It can go both ways.

I don't remember seeing worse qb play in the playoffs . Hoyer was terrible. If Deandre Hopkins had a real qb, he would be even more incredible

i think you need to look at this play again, he had time enough to take a quick three step drop, plant his feet, pat the ball, turn his shoulders and his stance all before he threw the ball, it was nearly 3 seconds. all of his receivers had made their cuts on their routes and were covered he should have never thrown the ball like he did. where exactly did he think the mlb was going to be, because he basically move up a yard and to his right one step and intercepted the ball.

you are right i shouldnt have said none of his turnovers were forced, on the fumble he did get hit.

i guess we just have a different definition of what a forced turnover is. i dont think just because you get pressure on the qb after the designed routes are run is an excuse for them to throw an interception, not in the nfl anyway.

I agree. It definitely was bad QB play out of Hoyer for most of the day, but I would bet Hoyer doesn't turnover the ball over like that if he was playing the Jaguars yesterday. There's a reason the Chiefs were second in the league in interceptions during the season.
