He saved ten bucks (plus about 1.40 for the hotel taxes)!
Hindsight is 20/20, Wendy!
Hahaha

I'm going to Longhorn, brah!
Is $70 a night cheap for a motel or hotel in a crappy small town?
The hooker was just going to town on the guy in the room next door. I heard her for 10 minutes non-stop.
I kid you not.
Euphemism? @naturalmwa what do you think? I'm leaning yes. It's 10:30 here and the noise level is unbelievable. Babies are crying and hookers are running up and down the halls. The walls are paper-thin.
Time to pray the rosary and meditate.
I have some "prayer beads" he can borrow.Euphemism? @naturalmwa what do you think? I'm leaning yes.
Maybe he's just watching porn on TV?
Exactly. Brian is more Catholic than I thought.I have some "prayer beads" he can borrow.

I did. It got 3 out of 5 stars. I figured it'd be full of hookers and crack.
The lowest price at a Hampton Inn by Hilton I have ever seen was $79 pre-purchase/Honors discount.
Prices vary WILDLY depending on location and time of year.
Lately, I have been getting much better deals in certain locations at the mid-level hotels like Doubletree and Hilton Garden Inn than I'm seeing at Hamptons.
On the Marriott side, same story. I can often stay at the more-upscale Springhill Suites cheaper than the Fairfield Inn right down the street for some reason.
Anyway, it pays to shop around while avoiding the dumpy chains.
Double tree & court yard R the go to.
This is like a bad movie.
The headboard in the other room is pounding on the wall.
Wow. It's going to be a long night.
I don't see the value at Courtyard. Nothing is free. Rooms aren't anything spectacular. And you don't get five-star service like an an actual Marriott full-service hotel.
I like Springhill Suites much better in the Marriott-branded lineup.
Big DT fan, also any Westin property is top notch.
I have not ventured into Westin territory, but I stay at Doubletree hotels a lot. You can get great deals in some locations, great Honors point bonuses, and elite members get free cooked-to-order breakfast. Love DT if it works out in my travels.
It's like I'm living in a bad movie.
So you're in a Motel 6 and you're surprised that you're surrounded by cops and hookers?I got to the Motel 6 an hour ago.
I am on a visit to the Padre Pio Shrine. As soon as I got to the motel, there were two cops in the halllway next to my room. One cop starts talking to me and asks me what I'm doing in this town. He was polite. I told him I was going to the Padre Pio Shrine and that I was from Maryland, near D.C.
One of the cop starts pounding on my neighbor's door and he says he's looking for an African American female. I assume she's a hooker. The guy next door took 10 minutes to answer the door. I think the hooker is hiding in the bathtub. I heard him talking later and I think she left.
I'm going to Red Lobster tomorrow after Padre Pio.

Well, whose fault is that? This is unbelievable. Every room has a hooker in it except mine.
As long as I don't get bed bugs, I'll be okay.
I figured I might as well slum it for a couple nights. It's 70 bucks a night.

Are the lights on for you?
can we go back to this. You're paying 70 a night at Motel 6?
They better at least get that part right.
There's a Pit Bull barking in the hallway.
Oh boy.
