It truly is nice to have a bench where you don't count the seconds a starter is sitting and pray for them to get back in.

Besides you can gradually rotate and have both units mix and match for quite a few minutes in every game and the quality of play really doesn't suffer a great deal.

I know this is going to sound like hyperbole, and I watch other College games when Iowa isn't playing, but I think we have the best bench in the Country. That's crazy, and it just might be true.

Depth is going to be key down the stretch if they start cramming these postponed games in towards the end of a grueling 20 game league schedule.

A bit worried about CJ Fredrick's foot as he was out of the game late and you could see him working his foot several times during shots of the bench. (watch around the 8:30 mark remaining of the 2nd half) Seems the foot may be bothering him some?

Depth is our greatest strength this year,.. The starters are some of the best talent we've had in years, and our bench is equal to, if not better than, what we've grown to expect from a good Iowa squad,.. Most opposing teams can't hold up to the relentless attack... We aren't the "Fab Five" but we might be the "Really Good Ten"....

That’s a big worry, didn’t realize he was still in pain. He’s such a big boost to the team.

I just read on hawkcentral, I think it was, that he did something to his shin. But when I saw the sideline shots, he was massaging his foot, not his shin. And with his past foot problems (surgery?), it could be reoccurring.
