If you don’t count Spencer Iowa has exactly two individual champion in the last 10 years. Thought about this tonight after Real lost a close match. Don’t know what the answer is, but the feeling of being snake bit is just that.

Better question is when has Iowa had two champs in the same year?

Damn I’m getting old.

Probably all the way back to McDonough Metcalf and Jaybo in 2010.
13 years since we’ve had multiple national champions in the same year.

And people are on here happy and content with the direction of the program. FFS.

It’s been a rough week, that’s for god damn sure. I have not been a nice person to be around the last couple days.
Glad to see I’m not the only one. I told the wife I was going to have to take next week off from work if the Iowa women get beat tomorrow.

How many teams besides PSU have had two champs in the same year in the last ten years?
2013 Okie
2014 Okie
2015 OhioSt
2016 OhioSt, Okie, Cornell
2019 Rutgers (for goodness sakes)
2023 Cornell

It hasn't happened as much recently as PSU has spent most of the past few years dominating the finals.
