A two-car accident in Minnesota in 2021. A twenty-some-year-old male and female were turning and their car was t-boned. Their vehicle was split in half. They both died at the scene. They were hit by a 17-year-old male who was drag-racing his 19-year-old sister. They were going over 100mph in a 55. In the police body cams, you can hear the sister railing at the couple in the car. Saying I hope they die and the most vile/hateful things. Maybe because she knew she was the cause of it all.
The outcome is the most infuriating, the 17-year-old driver, at the time only five months from his 18th b-day, serves only a few months in juvie and then is set free. And some legislators in MN have wanted to raise the minor age from 17 to 21.
