While you are at it then...would you mind comparing Northwestern's history to Nebraska's? Thanks!
Already did that
While you are at it then...would you mind comparing Northwestern's history to Nebraska's? Thanks!
Dope? Really?
The skirts always have better recruiting classes. Too bad it doesn't translate anywhere else.
Now skirt fans celebrate NDSU and recruiting rankings. Makes sense to leave the on the field results to someone else. The once mighties can't do it.
Break out the VHS tapes.
Don't sell yourself short...you have had plenty of laughers in your history vs Wisconsin...I can name a few if you would like. I fail to see what the halftime score has to do with the actual outcome of the game? Hell...when Iowa won 38-17 in Lincoln it was a one score game with 10 minutes left...are you telling me that game could have went the other way as well? Mediocre since 2011 but better record than the "bullies"<-----LOL, of the Big Ten
Which is the same amount of wins Nebraska has against FCS teams this year. LolDid a nebraska fan bang your girl or what because you seem quite salty. To answer your question we have as many top 10 finishes as IA does wins against FCS teams this year
Not too many laughers. I sure as hell don't see sixt to seventy points there anywhere and you've already done it twice. Congrats!!!!

Likewise you would think the "bullies" of the Big Ten would have more than two winning seasons in the Big Ten since Nebraska has joined.
You're 2-3 vs us, dope.
More please.
Yes, really. You've read his posts.
Don't Nebraska fans have their own board somewhere. It's probably dull, I know.
That's embarrassing. Back in 1894 we lost almost as bad as Nebraska did in the Big Ten Championship.
The thread initially had zero to do with UN. Period.
Northwestern (NU) IS in the same league as Nebraska (UN). The game last Saturday ended in a less than two score margin (not the imaginary 25 points that someone wants to pretend it to be). We all know from just last November that a much wider differential - say twenty-one points is not telling so Northwestern is definitely on par with Nebraska.
Or, are you willing to admit that Iowa left no doubt last year that UN was not even in the same league?
Husker Duh can't handle my posts so he goes with his 6 year old come back.
Iowa focuses on actually being a top ten program. Not pretending to be one like the once mighties. Leave it to little bro to focus their attention on Iowa.
More please.
I don't believe he is focusing on the past two weeks as much as you are.So...Just to make sure I have things straight..
Big Brother is unranked and losing to FCS schools, while Little brother is ranked 15th and beating ranked teams. Just want to make sure that I'm up to speed on your vernacular.
Are Okyou talking about the last two trips to Lincoln? Or maybe your entire season last year? Wait, losing track, when does history matter again? Oh, that's right the years where there is a new coaching staff. Those don't count, right? Or do they?

Sorry, I was busy watching our 38-13 domination of Northwestern.
28-20 would appear to be a pretty close game. And that's even with the gift TD we gave you. The game against Northwestern last Saturday wasn't close.
I don't believe he is focusing on the past two weeks as much as you are.
28-20 is close if you only look at the score. Watching the game Iowa was never in jeopardy of losing the game. We had a game to play the following week and just needed to get it over with without any more injuries than we already had.
But keep living vicariously through NDSU and Iowa will keep focusing on delivering top ten seasons. At least Thai way your treasured VHS tapes will still have meaning.
Yeah, I sure was convinced by your 250 total yards of offense. Yer killing me, Community College..![]()

Revisionist history not even a week removed. I have no doubt that Husker fan will completely believe the score was 38-13. Again, delusional.
I really hate weighing in on crap like this, but as an anomaly(fan of both teams) I will this time. NW had a turnover in the endzone too...also missed an extra point, missed a 25 yd FG, fake a fg b/c of the ineptitude. Why do those not count, but Nebraska's two fumbles do? The score differential is a pretty accurate reflection of the two teams that played last weekYeah, I sure was convinced by your 250 total yards of offense. Yer killing me, Community College..![]()

Regarding last year why was an interception returned for a touchdown a gift, but Iowa fumbling a punt at their 20(w/o contact) not? And the yardage argument is so ameteur and pathetic. Which team averaged more yards per play? It will surprise you. Which team only threw 5 passes the entire second half and proceeded to milk a clock- Iowa. Which team had more passing yards, on a cold windy day, throwing against 7 man coverages because their run game wasn't respected, and never had the ball with a chance to take the lead in the second half, outside of the opening drive when it went 3 and out- Nebraska.
Last year was last year. Nebraska feigning superiority in way shape or form is embarrassing. This year is this year.. Things will play out. So far one team has looked really good in 1 game, average to below average in 3 - I'm looking at you Iowa. One has looked average to above average in 4 - I/m looking at you Nebraska(opponents are a whopping 5-10 and only one had a defense with a pulse.
IMHO both really need to let a year play out. The only advantage I see for Nebraska is they are a bit more explosive whereas Iowa's only advantage appears to be the punter and ability to win a field position struggle.
Hopefully this is a thread killer.
Here's the difference...turnovers as a result of a player on the offensive team screwing up, rather than the defensive team making a play. Also, dominating the other team to put themselves in the position to score is part of the equation. Iowa's DE last year didn't have to do anything but catch a ball and walk into the end zone, so shame on us for stinking it up and giving away a TD. It cost us in the long run.
Also, the interception by Chris Jones in the end zone was a beautiful pick, and he appeared to almost bait Thorston into throwing the ball. If Northwestern would have made plays on those drives or the turnovers, I wouldn't be discussing them. Also, Ozigbo's knee touched the turf on his fumble before he fumbled, so that wasn't even a fumble.
We both know that we dominated Northwestern in moving the ball right down the field on both of those fumble possessions. I know we didn't win 38-13, but the difference in the two teams is much closer to 25 points than 11, and it was evident on the field. We also beat them on explosive plays by a number of 14 to 2, which again illustrates the differences between the two teams.

Have you figured out how to improve your reading ability yet? Seriously man, Evans Learning Center. Sign up, pronto..
Makes sense that skirt fan only wants to talk about the last 2 weeks. When you haven't had a top ten season since 2002 you are a once mighty. It is best to live vicariously through NDSU than face the fact that the skirts haven't been mighty since the VHS era ended.
The VHS thing...we already went over this, short bus. You're wrong, so give it a rest.
I read just fine you still believe that once mighties really won 38-13 against Northwestern and that the only reason Iowa beat the skirts last year was a gift TD.
More delusion please. A core competency of skirt fans.
I don't believe he is focusing on the past two weeks as much as you are.
And you really need to work on those run-on sentences, community college. Perhaps you two can get a 2 for 1 special at Evans Learning Center.
The correct time frame for comparison is whatever stupid UNL fans can cherry pick to serve their warped perspective. It's now down to a two week window apparently.
Yes we have been over it, your Wikipedia entry was proven wrong.
But as always your delusion simply won't acknowledge the obvious.
I must say, your mastery of our beloved tongue has been impressive. But aren't you pushing the envelope a bit with 3-syllable words? Baby steps, short bus, baby steps..
Ah, the 1984 tie game. Aka the Ronnie Harmon breaks his leg game.

How about you go look for an FCS loss on our schedule. Any time, any decade. It's not a 2-week period, although the 14-7 win over Rutgers was impressive in its own right. It's just a 1-week sampling.
